They've hired Sioux Volley as a Midwest recruiter.

I had niece graduate last year from Central I believe it's the same. I do remember some rural kids that went to Manvel til 8th grade then went to a different high school. Don't remember which one.

You know Manvel is in North Dakota right? I graduated from Central and most of the kids went to Central with the exception of a few that wanted to Red River. Or are you saying there is an agreement between the districts.

Hot goalies win championships, especially in single eliminatation formats. Those two teams play each other 9 more times UND wins all 9.

I went over and tried to log on and either I forgot my password or they deleted the account. I don't care enough to do any more work to see how inbreds run their website. It's bad when almost half the NDSU fan base can't stand their own fan forum.

I have an account there. I've posted maybe 4 times each time giving them congratulations. I've never noticed the marks. Although, I rarely ever look at that site and it's been over a year and half since I've looked.

What does red mean? Like a Scarlett Letter?

Could we move the ball against them? How well do you think our run defense could do against them? How many punts of ours would get blocked by them? Kind of Kidding about the punts. I don't know how much a guy could tell from one half of tv football but it's a good barometer to tell how close we are.

No one has mentioned it but James Madison beat Youngstown State for FCS championship today. Did anyone watch it?

The way I look at it is recruiting and graduation forces change every year. There is probably a different amount of scholarships to give out every year. The variables involved in scholarship distribution is part of what makes a coaching staff good recruiters. Talent evaluation is just part of it. A big part of it is scholarship management. If you guys haven't seen watch the second 30 for 30 on the U. It has a big segment about what Butch Davis did to overcome all the scholarship reductions at the school after NCAA sanctions were set against them. It was great. He didn't sit around and whine about what he had to work with. He got creative and managed the scholarships allotted to him. Rocky failed to recreate dream teams when put on a level field. He was forced to become a all around recruiter and became slightly above average as a result. Since then Bohl came in and showed everybody how to win when at a disadvantage (probation period). Like I said earlier. I'd love to see Rocky comeback.

Our tradition and facilities would still produce a top 5 D-1 hockey team every year. That would not change. What it might do is drive down the talent pool in college hockey and force some talent that would play college hockey either go pro or major junior. In college football players don't have that option to play elsewhere. Not sure what you're getting at.

That's the tough part about hiring a young coach at the FCS level. If they're successful they'll leave for a FBS school. I'm sure Klieman will be atleast talked about being the replacement coach at WMU and I think they should hire him. It would be interesting to see what NDSU would do. They should probably try to do the same thing and retain one the coordinators to take over. My bet is they try to bring in some wash out from the east coast. Somebody who has coached at the FBS level with limited success. I know I'm way ahead of myself on this one, but I'd Like to see what that administration would do. My bet is not the smart thing. We'll get to see if Larsen can fill Taylor's shoes if that happens.

Yep that's what I meant. I graduated in 96. I would of been a sophomore when you guys were seniors.

Ya, that's the one I was thinking about. I was senior in high school when that game was played. Must of been Phillips Red shirt Freshmen season. If I remember right he had a pretty good game on a real cold day.
