and the phy ed classes used to use the old upstairs gym. so they don't really need another one. In all honesty Hyslop is the weirdest building ever. Not easy to get around in at all. Try to go from admin end to the pool. I don't know the history of it but it really is like 4 side by side buildings where a doorway or two was knocked into it. I mean how many people know their is an old upstairs gym? Or classrooms above admin where its 90 degrees all winter? Wasn't wrestling rooms on second floor above intramural courts? Is cheerleading still in there?

I don't think it is open until bar close. Last I was there it was until 1 am. I talked to one of the train designers one time about this and he said it's because they don't want people puking on the trains. But I've cabbed from downtown back to MOA and I don't remember it being too much more than $20.

And a couple weeks ago in a bar I watched a couple bison fb players coming in throw fake punches at a couple Sioux fans (not players) who were leaving and nothing had been said prior. No way. That would destroy college footbalss regular season and wreck all the big money conference championship games. Plus the playoffs would go on for far too long. I've always been a proponent of 8 team bc that would mean each conference champ and one or two at large. But in all honesty last year you'd have a hard time coming up with 8 teams that were truly worthy.

I used to live in San Bernardino. One of the last "suburbs" but like 60 miles east of LA but where the 10 east goes to Phoenix and the 15 heads north to Vegas. It's also where the mountains have a kink so it traps all the smog. Some days I couldn't see the next stoplight it was so thck. And the rule of thumb was if you hit snooze once add about an hour to your drive.

Lived out in Los Angeles (hence name) and personaly any team that goes to LA will fail. They follow winners and that is it. How many teams have tried and not survived there? 3? 4? Traffic in LA is some of the worst in the country. I can't imagine people trying to get to a 60,000 - 80,000 seat stadium at roughly the same time. One time I had to drive to Orange County for Twins at Angeles game. First time trying this and mapquest said about 45 minutes. 3 hours later I was at the game. There is the reason the 405 is called a parking lot. I've flown in overnight and been in a traffic jam on a 8 lane freeway in wee hours of the morning.

I think they are out if they oppose it. I used to live in Hennepin and gladly supported the whopping half a penny on every dollar I spend in the county to go towards that ballpark. And why do the "out staters" always have to burden fair share when most money in the state and people able to go are "in staters?" ***ALWAYS hated these terms. Elitist at its extreme. The rest of the state should just seceed and let msp and st paul rely on burbs for all there social, structural, and political problems.

He was there. A coach said that his brother is with the program, but maybe I misheard and he is just at UND because saw them both in the stands and can't find any mention of brother being with team. Though I didn't look to hard. Anyways that seems to be the connection and why he visited.

How much does the X kick themselves if the Target Center gets NCHC every year? That's a lot of money to lose out on to keep umtc happy and get to say you have the B1G tourney. I'm very curious to see if any fans travel from the state of Michigan. Because they don't even show up to Joe Louis the way it is.

Wasn't the issue with Sanford that they wanted naming of the med school or some control of that? And seeing as how they have such a little presence in this town UND can't turn their back on Altru.

I would think that we'd grab some other Juco's to even this out. Otherwise it'll be a rough couple years after this junior class.

Do you mean the midget team that the Hockey Academy is in process of beginning to start?

I think our deal with them and WDAZ/UND sports network is up. I've heard that midco will probably outbid wdaz for rights (especially hockey) but that would mean HD. Unless you are me who has Directv and can't get midco sports network.

She was treated very poorly by the coaches. Her attitude could've been an issue but I can't imagine it being a work ethic thing either. She was released but I wonder if she wouldn't have left on own anyways. Actually surprised she lasted the season.
