Isn't this surprisingly high for a non-football school? Their travel couldn't have been worse than what we've been doing. Do they sponsor that many more sports and scholarships than us?

I get what you are saying but I recently watched an old episode of Looney Tunes and was reminded of how violent that show was. And how old is that show?

Lets say this goes thru. If you are a school president what would it take for you to move from one conference to the other? I would guess UND will be happy to be attached to the Montanas and hopefully it goes that way.

Got better towards the end with actual discussion of WAC needing to sponsor a couple mens sports so needing a few more teams for baseball and possibly another sport like soccer. That NoDak on there sure wrote and had ideas/knowledge like Star2City. Anyone know why he quit posting here?

I like the idea of the conference, but I think it should be NCAA as a whole. Notice the conference realignment thread and discussion of Penn St. in hockey forum. Could a conference category be a subcategory of each UND Sport?

I wasn't talking about the school logos themselves. But the new Big Sky logo and how each school gets own version of it. I was hoping the Big Sky site had a page of them all but haven't found it yet.

I like that idea. BigSky / NCAA. Especially since we don't need the division 1 reclassification one.

And DirecTV carries them as only live event channels. What would be really nice is if Midco sports network could get put on DirecTV's sports package.

Umm I'm struggling to make sense of your post. NCHC signed deal with CBSsports, so when that conference starts it seems even games that they don't air won't be allowed nationally on FCS like has been happening for Sioux fans. We were still able to sign a regional deal and so we get Midco. Which does nothing for us with DirecTV, though it seems at least this year FCS can still pick up games to air.

But isn't PIT also having to re-sign Crosby?

But there was no offer to the MVFC. Football will have the most travel issues. But now all the other sports can have a lot of close non-con games that we'd bus to. Maybe not all schools will schedule us and we may choose to not schedule them, but filling out schedules for us is going to be a heck of a lot easier than if we were with the Summit schools. But I will agree that we will have more traveling to do compared to in the summit.

I think it'd be very cool to all of a sudden see them come running out in the new uni's.
