I am shocked by some of the stupidity on these message boards. There are actually people who prefer Sun Dogs over North Dakota. I understand people not being a fan of no nickname; but to be willing to accept anything over remaining North Dakota shocks me. Sun Dogs is absolutely laughable, I would take flickertails 100 times over before sun dogs. unbelievable.

No you're right, Green Hawks or Spirit is way better than what has worked for the last few years. Honestly, staying North Dakota is not about keeping an unofficial name at this point, or not moving on, it is simple the best option out of the sh&%$y list they provided. I shouldn't be, but I am. I just can't believe Sun Dogs, Pride, Blaze and Green Hawks are legitimate top 15 candidates. Noth Dakota!!!!

I am shocked that this is the best list that this committee could come up with. What a giant waste of time and money! I have always been a supporter of remaining North Dakota, and that choice now rings louder than ever. The only plausible options on this list are North Dakota, Cavalry and Roughriders. Everything is pretty much a joke. Very surprise the Nokota didn't crack the top 15, or even flickertails. North Dakota is the only option in my book. Incrediblly weak field for the top 15.

Does anyone remember Anthony Anderson, RB, from Eden Prairie two years ago? I know he went to Iowa Western, but haven't heard anything on the kid since. Big kid, and was really dominant in HS, just wondering if he would even be on UND's radar, since we need depth.

I tend to agree. I think it helped to keep beating the FBS teams, but I think it had even more to do with the turnout they got the first time around. If NDSU does get it again, it would be really fun to have it be on UND NDSU weekend, just because the turnout would increase by even more which would be fun. BUT the stars would really have to align for that to happen.

What is the word on this Roland kid? Why are we just picking up a new senior commit now? Did he have other offers or was there eligibility/grades questions? Still a little unnerving regarding how quiet it is on the RB front. Really would be nice to add a depth guy there, hopefully at corner too.

Montana vs NDSU will be a really entertaining game. Looking forward to that one actually. My in-laws are huge Bison fans, so I tend to watch more Bison games than I otherwise would. I know alot of Bison fans are glad College Gameday appears to be set for the week against UNI, but gotta admit, the environment would have been epic if it had been against UND. Fargo has already had such a good showing for those events, that adding all of the visiting fans traveling from GF and the surrounding areas would have made a great environment even better. Tailgating for that game will be fun, but gameday would be even more fun.
