The only issue I see with this idea is where do the students in the upper bowl go if you move them to the end we shoot twice at? The bar gets in the way so do you split the students in the upper on either side of the bar? I feel like that could lessen the effect.

You must have really been goin at it! But were there certain chants or anything that were off limits? I think we need a more coordinated student section with designated leaders to pump the crowd up, get the chants started. All of the chants could be distributed to students as they enter the arena so everyone is on the same page. Maybe I need to re-enroll as a 31 year old freshman to make sure this gets done right

What specifically were you not allowed to do that other student sections are allowed? That surprised me as I've heard some loud "F*** The Gophers" chants.

Good information, there needs to be some sort of collective effort by the students to make it a home ice advantage. If they stop showing up, REA needs to get rid of one of their sections.

I think I'm in the area of priority #700-800 and I got 4 tickets to Vegas and have got tickets to every regional. I'm not sure how many are on the list though.

The reason I don't attend as many football games now is because the Alerus is an extra mile roundtrip from my house and requires I take 2 left turns instead of only 1 left turn to get to The Ralph. That's a lot of extra gas money waiting for those turns and I want to be able to afford to pay for college for my daughter.

Games are boring & too long?? I've been to some snoozer games(happens in every sport) but in no way do I get bored at UND hockey games. It's consistently 2.5 hours, longer if OT is involved. Sounds like you guys may need to try a new sport. Apparently no one here was at the most recent overtime game vs Wisco.

I am not sure a committee is needed with Jody Hodgson running things but I do think they need to continue to improve the gameday experience and never rest on their laurels. I believe I saw on facebook that if you visit a local Hugo's you can get a $25 ticket voucher to this week's games. That'd bring your ticket price down to $20/25 for this weekend. I believe you also get a free FH towel at the box office when you use the voucher as well FWIW

That's my major issue with it, the colors don't match up with the primary school colors at all. Trying to imagine that looking good on our current jerseys is pretty tough.

I think people are assuming the pre-season NCHC rankings putting Miami at the bottom means they're a bad team. I mean, they're 8-4 thus far this season, so they can't suck too badly. This isn't a 'sky is falling' type loss IMO

Not really, they could just as easily be sent to any of the other 3 regionals especially since the committee generally adheres to 'a flight is a flight' guideline.

Yeah that'd be great but most teams don't have those. And as great as those guys were, only one of those 3 ever won a title. Duluth did not have a Boeser-like player last yr. This yrs team strength going into the yr was defense and our shot suppression #s bear that out. This team can sit around and wait for a 25 goal scorer or accept their identity, which seems like they have.
