This is so bananas, what a time to be a UND Hockey fan. Legit national title contenders basically locked in for the next 3 years minimum.

I’ve played pebble and maybe 30 or so of the top 100 public courses. Had chances to play sawgrass but for $800+? No way
-
That may be the most outrageous statement I've ever read. Full disclosure I've never played Sawgrass but I've never heard someone choose Sawgrass over Pebble. Who knew I'd get in a golf debate today on SS.com! Pebble with the marine layer lifting and hitting that approach shot into 6, then hole 7 with the waves rolling in. Top it off with the hero shot over the chasm of ocean on 8 and I'm not sure how a Florida course competes with that.

Or is it? Do we want the guys that are mainly choosing a school because of the price point if we continue getting the Verhoeffs, Reschnys, and Carels of the world?
-
Agreed on move to May, I liked it better in August where it felt like a natural end to the golf season. Now the PGA Tour runs out of a lot of steam in July after The Open is finished knowing we have to wait until April until the next major.

Makes me think of a hypothetical that went through my head. Who is the most unlikely player in the country to enter the transfer portal? Answer has to be Max Plante -

Wonder if this neutralizes spoon man’s skill a bit -
Zero chance we get the ruck twins being full up at forward, right? I'm assuming they're 100% going NCAAs this coming season and not 27-28?

JT Miller committed to UND in October of 2010 and reneged in July of 2011, that's a world of a difference to me vs committing in May, and reneging a month or 2 later. -

So goofy, is there ever an instance of a kid committing to a team, getting drafted a month later then reneging immediately on that commitment? None come to mind for me. -

After seeing Kernan in that Quinny game, I think he’ll be 2C this year. That shot, my god -
It would be absolutely insane if they added another big fish

I was more commenting on the lack of reporting. Reporting on this great new building someone has in Grand Forks, you think they'd at least mention where it is.

Unless I missed it, it doesn't even say where it's located

And Heil by the sounds of it

That's impressive. I just remember going to the hyslop for women's basketball, the first part of men's basketball then taking the tunnel over to the old ralph. Great memories

I recall some electric 5 on 5 OT's, and the stakes were so much higher

And twice on Frozen Four Saturdays -
Is it just me or does this feel a knee jerk response to not playing in the Frozen Four? These are young guys and feels like a lot of these transfers are emotional decisions being made a few days after something didn't go their way. I guess I don't get what Cade was expecting when he came to UND, to be a top 6 guy? And I want to say, I'm a massive Cade Littler fan, hope he has all the success in the world when he's not playing UND.

Except that you could probably buy a Holiday Inn with the increased equity in that lake place over the past 20-30 years. Agreed though, no shorter of things to do in the summer. It's the winter that could use some more options.
