Yeah definitely should have higher expectations and I wasn't directing my statements just to you. I just wanted to point out that while we might not have the most national titles in the last 10-15 years, we are the most consistent program in the country without a "down year" since 2002. Zero programs besides ours can say that and I feel like people discount that. Also, we are one season removed from winning it all. There's a ton of things to be positive about.

North Dakota vs. Minnesota in Las Vegas - October 2018

'Likely' and 'Confirmed Sale' are very distant cousins. Again, if anyone has a 'confirmed sale' of tickets that they know of at these prices, I'd be all ears. October will be my 12th trip to Vegas and feeback on hotels I've stayed at: Venetian - North Side of Strip, Huge gorgeous property, massive rooms(700+ sq feet), Bella Suite has 3 beds including the pullout so can sleep 6 people comfortably, favorite poker room, downside is it can be a bit of walk from your room to casino or the strip Planet Hollywood - Center of everything happening on the strip, across from Bellagio fountains, younger crowd, easy walk from room to casino/strip, downside is rooms aren't as nice as the high end hotels and price can still be high due to location Vdara - Newer hotel, Quiet, Set back from craziness of strip, Really nice rooms, may have view of bellagio fountains, downside is a loooooong walk to the strip through Aria/Cosmopolitan to the strip Caesars - Massive property, large range of rooms from great to crappy with a view of a wall, may get lost in the casino, the coolest nightclub I've seen in my entire life(Omnia), & does have a lot of options for pools and a topless one(or so I've heard ) MGM Grand - Another huge property with everything you could ever want, pool parties, Nightclub that has the same price tag as The Ralph, Lazy River going through regular pool area, ask for a room near elevator ecause like Venetian you could have quite a walk from your room to the casino/strip Stratosphere - Don't stay here, that is all My main advice is in general you get what you pay for in Vegas. And you can take an uber or lyft for $10-15 from any hotel on the strip to The Orleans so it's a non-issue if you don't have a room there. I've visited The Orleans once and it didn't do much for me but to each their own. Also, downtown is the place to go for low limit gambling, cheap drinks and an overall classic vegas experience. I usually make it there one night of every trip as I enjoy what the strip has to offer. -
I tend to be pretty thankful of what we've been able to watch. In a college hockey environment of increased parity where so many programs are fielding competitive teams making it exponentially more difficult to guarantee yourself a bid for the NCAAs, much less 16 straight. So much 'what have you done for me lately?' attitudes before the season is even over. Oh and btw, this season is far from lost. Why bury it before it's dead?

I'd be interested to hear from anyone that has actually sold them for that. Anyone can overprice tickets on Stubhub. -

Has to be coming in next year, no?

Every guy needs to stop drinking too...

Agreed that mine is a pretty good knock-off but once I laid it down next to my authentic jersey bought from the Sioux Shop the differences really stuck out.
-
Yup, this is my whole point. I'm considering this but based on principle I really want my $125 back. I'll let you know if I change my mind though. Yeah I suppose so, but I'm not looking to spend $120 on something that's a knock-off.
-
So it's an $80 jersey(which is generous given the quality) and I should build the $40 shipping from China into the value despite it not being shipped? That makes zero sense. People saying it's not the end of the world, of course it's not but 99% of whats posted on this site is 1st world problems. It's the principle of this being posted as a REAL jersey and I quote "not a chinese knock off". It was a blatant misrepresentation of a product.
-
UPDATE: Guy doesn't understand how it isn't a real jersey. Said my wife should have inspected more closely upon purchase(she has no idea what to look for). Would refund money but somehow spent it on his divorce lawyer in the last 3 hours. So much for my wife trying to surprise me with a really thoughtful v-day gift...people suck
-
So they shouldn't be on the same tag then, correct?
-
One thing I noticed was Reebok and CCM on the tag. Aren't those 2 completely different brands of jersey?
-
$125 and it was sold as specifically " not a Chinese knockoff" so I'm getting my money back
-
Perfect, thanks
-
Per my wife, from someone selling on facebook.
-
Could you be more specific? If I'm going to get my money back I need some concrete issues to point to.

Far too early, but what the hell...Bracketology

If there's one thing I learned about Northeastern, it's that you don't want to play them in a regional when they're on a hot streak....- 293 replies

So we all agree Thome starts friday? Good, it's settled, now someone inform Berry of our decision! -
That hasn't helped either for sure. Any time a line starts clicking it feels like one or more are out with an injury.
