  1. I was wondering if they started to make their own bread at the new south location to save $. Either way, it's a terrible move to mess with such a popular food item.
  2. Huh... but they just did?
  3. So our bad games where we have 10,000 in the seats vs theirs with 3,000? By our standards attendance was light this year and we still outpaced the rest of the country. We can be plenty cocky if we continue to be the best attended games home or away. But seriously, rip the band aid off and jump on the Bulldog bandwagon. You clearly want to.
  4. Better get your season tix for next year, there's plenty available
  5. Not sure why we'd want a guy that is the back-to-back runner up, obviously can't close in da big gamezzz
  6. What if it's another jersey to add to their collection? Who's to say if this is the 1st Sioux jersey the person has bought? In my case, I bought an authentic black one before they were retired and looking for a green and/or white one.
  7. You could troll plenty of fanbases quite easily: St Cloud - nice 1st rd exit and your coach left u for the girl he told you not to worry about. BC - Jerry York isn't even trying anymore, put him out to pasture BU - Maybe if the entire team is 1st rounders you'll make a frozen four Andy, you're gayer than Oscar. Boom, roasted
  8. A couple articles that poke fun at UND... sure I can appreciate that and even that it was funny for an article or two. The entire website though comes off as a bit unprofessional and a little desperate. I can already hear the editors saying 'SEE! UND FANS CAN'T TAKE A JOKE, NO HUMOR' which would in turn drive twitter arguments and traffic. However, the fact that there was only one program/fanbase targeted out of 60 shows a certain level of intensity and/or borderline obsession to get a rise(see:clicks) out of our fanbase. Maybe that was their goal? Drive UND fans to the website in order to increase traffic in the dead weekend before the Frozen Four. It's not the worst thing in the world, but I'm honestly surprised that CHN doesn't take themselves more seriously. It wouldn't be a choice I would make while trying to establish a reputable college hockey news source. The best comparison I could make was to LetsGoDU's satirical articles before we play them in a series... only CHN's weren't quite as clever. The LetsGoDU one's have actually made me laugh out loud
  9. Both were thought of as "misses" when they committed elsewhere. Simpson fell flat, let's wait to see before considering this one a definite miss as well.
  10. Exactly, it's pretty easy to say someone was a big miss knowing that you won't be called on it a year or two after the fact when they don't pan out. Good example with Riley Simpson. Once said player starts lighting it up we can consider him a miss, until then it's pure guessing based on development and how he would've(or wouldn't have) fit into our program.
  11. Honestly, they probably have been the better conference this year by a slim margin. I'll pull for the meteor then Notre Dame or OSU.
  12. I could of sworn I read somewhere that the NCAA requires regional sites(and the Frozen Four for that matter) to be held only at arenas with NHL sized sheets.
  13. Out of all the things Oxbow has posted this is about the least offensive, you must be new And having an opinion that Colton is an integral part of this team isn't exactly controversial.
  14. Relevance?
  15. If only these seasons were played in a vacuum with all other variables being constant. Then we could compare this cherry-picked piece of information to shed a negative light on the current coach.
  16. I've avoided this board for the most part since our season ended for good reason. The thing that bothers me most is that fans(not all but some) are already pontificating the scenarios in which Coach Berry is let go after next year. The guy that literally is 2 years removed from winning us our 1st national championship after a 16 year drought where his predecessor(now being paid millions at the highest level of hockey and is a great coach) couldn't get the job done for us. The fact that some bobos are scripting our future demise of the next season and ousting of the head coach before we even hit summer is mind-boggling to me. And it's not just on these boards btw... it's on twitter, people heard it in St. Paul this weekend, I heard it in Grand Forks. If the hockey program shared an inkling of the negativity and 'woe-is-me' attitude we wouldn't win a damn game. Again, I don't believe everyone shares this mindset and I appreciate constructive conversation many on here provide but IMO to sift through the other crap to get there is almost not worth the effort anymore.
  17. Maybe the St Cloud fans will show up 3rd period of the national title game... if the Huskies have a lead
  18. Shouldn't you be slamming green beer there right about now?
  19. If you're looking for good juju I watched the UND v Northeastern game at the Tilted Kilt next to The Linq. I think the waitresses were really confused about why we were yelling at a hockey game on TV at 9 AM Vegas time
  20. That's too bad, at least the result should've made you feel better!
  21. Should've came to Tampa, weather was lovely...hockey wasn't bad either
  22. Do they though? They've already almost completely sold out the lower bowl. I'd guess they've already collected more revenue than either year at Scheels Arena in Fargo due to the increased capacity.
  23. That's awesome to see, everyone going will be treated to some really quality hockey. I truly believe that the NCHC is well on their way to solidifying themselves as the best conference tourney in the country.
