Yeah that'd be great but most teams don't have those. And as great as those guys were, only one of those 3 ever won a title. Duluth did not have a Boeser-like player last yr. This yrs team strength going into the yr was defense and our shot suppression #s bear that out. This team can sit around and wait for a 25 goal scorer or accept their identity, which seems like they have.

We actually have been scoring pretty well lately. This team will win by getting contributions from multiple players.

I got scolded by a grown ass man 30+ yrs my senior because I stood like 5 seconds too long cheering after we scored our 1st goal on Friday. So I sarcastically apologized for cheering too much and he tried to stare me down to intimidate me? So I went up to him at intermission and asked what the issue was. It's amazing how quickly people(including this guy) back down and aren't so tough when you speak to them like a person and make them articulate their tough guy act.

It's very possible we end up in different regions, but I'm just basing it on what I've seen from them lately. Veteran team that can put the puck in the net and doesn't seem like any situation is too big for them. Although their goalie needs to learn how to handle the puck behind his net

Only thing that matters is 2 wins, UND honestly could have gotten more power plays than they did(not that it would have helped lol). In the 1st period for example, we should have been given a 5 on 3 for 2 minutes when we were on the delayed penalty and JBD got blatantly tripped on the blue line which led to Wisconsin being able to touch the puck up. Yes we got a ton of power plays but that's because we were the superior team. And I don't say that being cocky, because that hasn't been the case every weekend so far this year(I honestly think Mankato is probably a frozen four team). Our team is clicking and starting to form a great identity early in the year. The freshies are contributing so much faster than they did last year. I have a great feeling about this team with how fast they've progressed this early.
