I don't know, but it always seems like they play us tough at the beginning of the year and then go down from there.

I'm super pumped about how well this weekend went for the hockey team. Probably more than I should be, until we see how we do against Mankato and Bemidji, but it'll be a hopeful week anyway.

That's right... the way it's going now, we'll go 0-fer in the Missouri Valley for a few years and then drop football... if you're not going to want to compete with the Bison, why play? Find a coach who's going to get these young kids up for games!!! After last week, how could you not think you got a chance at the playoffs if you win? Our captains must suck too, by the way.

I totally agree w/ EVERYTHING Ogie is saying. . . I told my kids that if the boys don't destroy Canisius this weekend, we're getting season Bismarck Bobcat tickets for the winter instead of staying home to watch the Sioux on TV.

Attendance is always a moot point unless you have some winning teams. You need a band wagon to get band wagon jumpers. Which is exactly why I can no longer go to Scheels from Sept. to May....all the Bison crap makes me want to puke.

Don't football teams have players only, closed door meetings? Seems like a good time for them to call one.... while they still have a chance to save the season. Seems like they work 90% of the time in hockey....if you have good captains.

I don't know about this game, but if they don't destroy Canasius at home, I might give up watching for the year and take up curling or something.

That's BS ... in the 90's we destroyed NDSU's damn running QBs.... if we weren't going to take the 1AA crap seriously, maybe we should have dropped football and gotten a decent coach for women's hockey.... they'd at least put a decent effort in...

That's where our flight emergency landed on the way home from Vegas. . . flight attendant had a stroke. Then we missed our connection in Dallas and ended up there overnight. Good times. Hope the team's stop in Albuquerque brings better luck!!

I honestly feel that there is more coaching schemes going on than we realize... last night being the prime example... whether the effort is there, is the question....

bottom line . .. we're 4,5 in the conference. . .. if we can't get home ice for the first round . . . there's no way we're winning 2 of 3 on the road to get to the conference tournament. . .so this is one step worse than most people think. . ..

My family still has their Air Force t-shirts from Sioux Falls so yeah, we'd be cheering for a repeat by Air Force, too. . . it was pretty fun to see the first time.

The whole "Tin Cup, entire round w/ a 7 iron" is extremely under-rated. Totally realistic and most people would drop their score big time. . . Seriously, though, could we just fire this jack wagon of a president and get someone from North Dakota who gives a crap about us for once? There hasn't been a great president since Clifford. Although Kuppchella (sp?) came around fairly quickly and wasn't terrible, we still need a homer to pull this $%#@! show together. . . .

I don't know. . . . I can see these guys scoring 7 this weekend, just to give us hope, and then getting shut out two games in Omaha next weekend. While setting game records for shots into the goalie's belly, of course!!

You have to get people in front of the net, blocking the goalie's line of sight. . . I wouldn't have thought that was that hard to figure out after Friday night's debacle.
