Sounds like it was an epic fail, except for that last line, and considering the "D" kind of looks like a "P" that's even questionable. On an off note; Super excited for the season to start, I think this team is going to be great again.

My first reaction, was to look at the Calendar and see if it was April 1st. Second thought was, "Are these the same guys who designed the new North Dakota License plates"). I had too much faith in Ed, I guess. Although, the other choices could have been worse!! And is it me, or does the N not being even make the D look like a P? It's weird. . . and not in a cool way.

\The thing is... i.e. REALITY CHECK!! You Bison fans are living on one, (Phil Hanson), having a decent career in the NFL, and we're dealing w/ I dare say almost 100 or more NHL roster makers. They don't have a "NDSU players in the NFL" spot in the BIsmarck Tribune every week, like they do a "UND players in the NHL" every week. And you know what?! BOTTOM LINE ..... When THE SIOUX win a Division 1 Championship in Hockey against say, Boston College or Notre Dame . .. our players aren't hoisting the trophy chanting, "Bison Suck". .. cuz we're in a league above and beyond Division 1 AA . . . we're at the top, and we beat the best there is. . .. you're not even a glint in our eye.

Well, we better get our !@#$ together, because apparently we're the only team in the country who can figure out how to beat these guys. Texas and Alabama teams can't figure it out. Although with Carson starting, they were pretty much hosed.

Rudolph wasn't winning at minot state, what were we expecting? If I saw a sign that said, "Faison is a moron", I'd feel better about life. Men in black 2 is on TNT. I think even Roger Thomas has turned the channel.

I was talking about all the Sioux fans in Denver, not the Denver fans in Denver. They buy 1/2 the season tickets for DU. Heck, I buy beer for every Denver fan I see at the Conference Tournament and let me tell ya, I'm not going broke doing it!! (It's about 2 a year). Would they travel to Sioux Falls? I don't know. I know some who would. But I also know, if you had the Conference Tournament in Denver, you wouldn't take a hit in attendance at all.

Besides, who says we have to go to the Twin Cities all the time? There's a ton of Sioux fans in Denver too. And Sioux Falls is pretty close to everyone. I think it's time we stop catering to the Minnesota schools. Their fans can start travelling a little bit. It'd be good for them.

Sioux fans go anywhere. Do they have beer there? Then we're in.

You guys are unfocused. I don't care that we lost. I'd hate the target center if we won. I'll talk to you tomorrow after we win.

It has to be a neutral arena. There's a million Sioux fans in denver. (They buy half the Denver season tickets). And air fare is cheap. You wouldn't have a problem with attendance.

Brainstorming here.... but everyone I ask agrees...the nchc should opt out of our shifty target center contract and move this tournament to Denver. Thoughts?

I think someone really needs to work on a name, because I have NO faith in this committee. And Kelly needs to just go jump off a cliff. I'll drive him to Montana. But seriously, we can't just make up our own cool Fighter Wing nickname? It can't be that hard. If someone doesn't come up w/ something cool and it doesn't take off on social media, we're screwed. Because what's worse than losing the old name? How 'bout having the president of UTTC and the PC police come up with a terrible one we have to live with for the rest of our lives (and our kids' lives). We'll probably end up being the "Loving, Inclusive Kittens" or something as crappy. I think that's a Bohica situation in Aviator Slang. Eielson was an Ice Pilot, but I think we can do better than that. Pick an animal or a plane nickname.

My son is going to pre-school w/ a Greg Hardin jersey tomorrow for "Football party" day... His teacher is a big bison fan. ... what's the Sioux record in the Fargo Dome? I know it's good... we used to joke when I was in school that we "rented the land" to them. Desperate situation here. . .let me know...
