Even though I was getting to kind of enjoy being in the Big Sky, the move to the Summit makes sense from several different angles, having the conference tournament relatively close by being one of them. Drove through the SDSU campus on the way back to Kansas City Sunday and they have a very nice campus.

Very true. Best sports weekend I've ever had was a weekend a year ago November when we got to see two BB games and a hockey game on Friday and a football game and a hockey game on Saturday, with a lot of Red Pepper in between. Well worth the long trip (675 miles one way).

2018: 8 LB corp much better and much deeper. Experienced DL with potentially excellent depth. Harris hopefully back in the secondary, but either way, much greater depth in the secondary.

Don't know anything about him and don't know where he came from, but I'm also suspecting that they must have a very good coach to parlay young, inexperienced talent into a competitive squad. And they've seemed to be very competitive ever since he took over.

I'm pleasantly shocked at how DL is staying with the big boys (e.g., GFC and RR), despite having four freshmen and an 8th grader on defense, a first-year goalie, and only one scoring line. 22 secs. away from pulling off a big one last night. Haven't seen any of their games, but I have a hunch that their first-year goalie is a gem and is keeping them competitive in every game. Hard to believe that they've given up more than 3 goals just once, despite playing the top teams.

I think you hit the bottomline nail on the head. With substantial improvement in our Oline, our offense will be hard to stop; we have too many weapons. Not sure our young hogs will provide that kind of improvement or not; may need to bring in at least one dropdown or JC.

Agree. A good second half gets them a fifth place seed and a winnable game against, undoubtedly, Grafton in the first round of the EDC.
