  1. Especially Z.
  2. Our freshman DB clearly got burned on the winning TD. However, the two PI calls against him were, IMO, ticky tack calls that you don't make in a close, bigtime game, not to mention the horse collar call. Let the players decide the outcome in a game like this, rather than playing to the crowd, as it appears that the refs were doing. Also, I love Schmidty and staff and what they're doing, but I hate to see our best RB, IMO, sitting out maybe half or more of the game (8 carries for 45; 5.6 ave.). I think that we have to have him in there late in the game when we're trying to grind out first downs and eat clock, and anytime we're inside their 10 yard line. He seems to know how to get into the endzone. Maybe the above has already been addressed ad nauseum in this thread, but I was too busy watching the game to read it. JMO.
  3. I remember that hit by the SDSU kid. He rightfully got thrown out of the game for it and afterwards the camera caught him laughing about it on the sideline.
  4. I did, but not quite good enough! Great game, glad that I went. Quite a bit of green there tonight. The team did them proud. Looking forward to the rest of the season. Already have my tickets and am planning on driving up for the NDSU game, with a stop in Omaha along the way Friday night for the hockey game.
  5. Same, except insert Kansas City for Omaha.
  6. Yep. Set the tone for the rest of the game! Was thankful to see this game in person.
  7. Won't have to; got it memorized already.
  8. Ok. Thanks. I'm not on twitter, but it'll probably be on the website soon.
  9. Where did you get the 2-deep? I couldn't find it, which isn't surprising.
  10. Maybe ask yourself the same question.......
  11. I think that he was being sarcastic.........
  12. I loved Chappell, too, and I remember the game that he had at UNI when we upset them when we were still D2 that I got to see in person. But I think I'd rank both Santiago and Oliviera ahead of him, simply because Chappell only played two years. Yeah, what might have been. I'd rank all three of them in the top five, though. Loved Santiago, though, and might rank him at the top.
  13. I'm out of state, so my wife's cousin went to the Alerus before 10 this morning and got 3 tickets to the Bison game for us. Anything to avoid those outrageous Ticketmaster fees.😊
  14. I think you're right. I office next to a KState alum, and he says that they're picked second in the Big 12.
  15. 6'3" 200 lb. WR/DB from Farmington, Illinois.
  16. I did! But I think that Simon, if he's healthy, will be right in the mix. My response had more to do with your seemingly denigrating a young athlete who can be proud of, just as I am proud of him, for what his character (and talent) has helped him to accomplish in going from leading his 9-man football team to, what, two state championships and then working his way up to becoming a starting QB at a Division I school. It'll be a great QB competition this fall starting Thursday, and I fully support whomever the coaches choose as the starter.
  17. Good response to a foolish post.
  18. Thanks. Looking forward to seeing if one or both can crack the starting lineup this year. What do you think?
  19. Do the Curtis twins come in this year or not until next?
  20. Another year in the system and I think he'll be right in the mix.
  21. Thanks. Not sure why that sticks out in my mind, but I remember that I hit high C when it happened.
  22. Wasn't he the guy that ran our goalie (Cam Johnson)? Not sure if he even got penalized.
  23. Hope he leaves his penchant for taking penalties at Merrimack.
  24. Also counts in nuclear weapons.😉
  25. Planning on it. I office with a K-State grad and I believe that he has season tickets.
