  1. Thanks. Please keep 'em coming!
  2. On the road. Any periodic updates would be welcome.
  3. It was 4X4 before the penalty, then I believe they pulled their goalie.
  4. BHS over DL 4-2 Good call (unfortunately), Ogie. How do you see Century/DL?
  5. Going with the head instead of the heart, that's the way that I'd pick 'em, too.
  6. Don't think the DL varsity played UND's freshmen that year. Even though I played basketball, I think that I would have heard about it. Remember going to several hockey games in the old Winter Sports Building. Between the old Winter Sports Building and the old barn at UND, there wasn't much comfort involved in watching hockey in those days. I think I remember the '07 team somewhat; didn't you beat Grafton in the 3rd place game at State? Did Everson play after high school? Thanks for the lowdown on DL/Bismarck. Hope DL can contribute to an all-East semifinals.
  7. Graduated from there way before you ('66), but still maintain an interest in their athletics. They lose a lot of seniors this year and, judging from the record of their Bantam and PeeWee teams, it doesn't look like they have a lot coming up. Needless to say, it'll take a great game to beat Bismarck twice in one season. You've probably seen both teams play; what are you thinking? BTW, you must be one of the few people that have ever played every varsity team in the state at every venue! Glad they're back in the East; better competition, night in, night out.
  8. Where'd you play your high school hockey, Ogie?
  9. Great article. Thanks for sharing it. You're right about Bubba recruiting athletes with character, and I think that forms the bedrock of the football program.
  10. Agree. DL has already beaten Bismarck this season, and Davies only lost to Minot 4-3.
  11. My thoughts exactly. I think that's been the key. That, and having someone (Q) you can count on down the stretch.
  12. Must be; I was thinking of Rob Mihulka, who played for Grafton back in the 70's. He was also a big running back in football, as I remember.
  13. Yes, he has this team playing at a high level, and they're a lot of fun to watch. They're playing with a sense of urgency, which is what it's going to take to have a continued successful stretch run. Almost every player seems to be playing above themselves. Hooker is going to be greatly missed next season; he's gold.
  14. Nice call, Ogie. Switch Minot and Jamestown around, and you almost ran the table.
  15. Where do you get scores of in-progress games?
  16. You know what they say about Vermillion, don't you? It's not a nice place to visit, but you wouldn't want to live there, either. JK, I've never been there.
  17. Glad to see DL didn't have the predictable/understandable letdown after last night.
