  1. Sorry but you seem a little two-faced - you come to a UND fan site to troll but then claim to be the victim. I have a hard time seeing that you wouldn't be the type of FU fan that isn't an instigator or might say something a little controversial when you were attending a UND/FU game. You are probably the type of FU fan that I have had to sit behind - I don't throw food I let the play on the field speak for me, The last 10 times UND and FU played in football I heard a lot of BS from FU fans - some of it insulting and arrogant. I left a majority of those games happy with the end result. Several times over the years I have been introduced to someone in a social setting and when alma maters came up and mine was UND and their's was FU without missing a beat they said "Sioux Suck". Now no matter what my feelings are about FU (shown by my use of FU) I would never feel it was appropriate to immediately say something derogatory about the school five seconds after meeting an alum of the school. Can't remember the last time I heard UND fans cheer abot FU unless they were playing them - seems to be reported that it happens quite reguarly from FU fans. I have attended numerous UND events and always see the guy that felt the need to wear an NDSU shirt - looking for trouble? Hoping someone says something so they can run to bison-swille? Based on my experence UND envy permeates FU fans and thus the need to always put UND down.
  2. I can say the say thing from my perspective so what's the point - rivals treat each other badly - ever read about the Auburn/Alabama fans or the Oklahoma/Texas fans - there are bad seeds everywhere and many of them troll other teams fan sites trying to stir up trouble.
  3. Oh yah all FU fans are perfect angels - don't get me started on FU sportsmanship - that issue goes both ways.
  4. Don't let facts get in your way. UND had an invite for a visit from MVFC Summit at the same time they had an offer from the Big Sky. UND needed a conference for football - Big Sky offered it all. Of course FU trolls now say they didn't want Big Sky anyway - after being turned down twice.
  5. I believe the excuse train has left the station - it's been said many times, UND is willing to restart the rivalry based on what's best for the state - not because of issues in filling their schedule. How's that "negotiating power" at FU helping fill their schedule, UNDs is just about full and no DIIs or Mothers of Mercy on it? If all schools stopped playing each other because of what a few stupid fans might say I doubt there would be any rivalry games anywhere. Small time thinking is it's a "Better Geographic Fit" (or the reality of you found a conference that would take you). Big time thinking is what conference brings more to the table, is more stable and best fits the profile of the school. UND had choices.
  6. Me too but if those scenarios were to happen you know what the repercussions would be.
  7. Finally something we can agree on. It would be nice to be able to have a few conversations that didn't feel adversarily.
  8. Okay but if a group of students were to show up at any UND event wearing the Siouxper Sober shirts - I think there would be a ruckus. What if they were shown on Facebook wearing the Siouxper Sober shots and taking shots at a local bar? Perhaps everyone should get a Siouxper Sober shirt and we should have a Siouxper Sober night at a hockey game next year - think there would be any double standard there?
  9. Sioux Falls - transition year game would you like to go back and review your transition years schedule.
  10. I stand corrected however it does appear like the shirt was being used to promote sobriety and if it's being done by Native Americans then we have the double standard again. it's okay for them to do it but not okay for anyone else. Hope the Herald picks up on this.
  11. I highly doubt this shirt was developed by Native Americans or anyone supporting the group that wants the Fighting Sioux name scrubbed from UND. This is just as offensive as the other shirt. It is the basterdizing of the Sioux name that was one of the main reasons this group wanted the nickname to go. I still have a water bottle with the name H-Sioux-O on it when they gave that away after a football game about a dozen years ago all hell broke loose.
  12. I always just take that saying as trash talk on a fan site, nothing anyone who knows anything about NDSU really takes seriously. The reason ND has more millionaires than any other state is the farmers. But it's a funny saying and nice to toss out when someone is dissing UND.
  13. You really think anyone who lives outside a 100 mile radius would choose FU over UND because they "get to live in Fargo" - reality check both are small town North Dakota and a short term stay for 95 percent of students - you may think having a Sonic moves Fargo up a notch but for most people - nope. I think based on alumni giving back to their schools that UND is doing pretty well - didn't take UND long to reach their multi-million dollar fundraising goal - FU struggled and begged and (don't even know if they ever made the goal). You must really enjoy wasting your time here because you are accomplishing nothing other than perpetuating your Marsha Brady syndromn.
  14. https://www.facebook.com/#!/arentwesiouxenough?notif_t=fbpage_fan_invite Eunice Davidson a member of the Spirit Lake Sioux Tribe just released her book "Aren't we Sioux enough" which sheds some light on how Sioux Tribal Members who supported the Fighting Sioux nickname were treated.
  15. For someone who claims they don't troll much you are sure making up for it. We are happy with our schedule and it seems you are happy playing Weber State and the School of Immaculate Conception - it's the media that's making the big deal. Let's see who Taylor ends up getting and paying to fill those holes all to avoid playing UND. The joke is by the time the game does get scheduled the playing field will be much more level in more ways than one.
  16. Great now the new d**k measuring stick for FU trolls is the price of football season tickets - what's next the price of popcorn?
  17. Sigh - revisionist history once again. It's been shared ad nasium here and I'm not going back to find the details, but UND was in a very different position back then from FU. UND already had success in DI so less urgency, other issues were at the forefront. FU was seeing many DII schools start to catch up to them as scholarships were increasing at other schools, they were falling back into the pack thus the urgency to make the move sooner. FU fans continue to need to compare themselves to UND especially when they can spin it to make FU look better. Just be happy with what you have and stop needing to put down other schools to make yourself feel better. There is only on Flagship University in North Dakota - accept it and move on.
  18. http://Siouxpride.com So it's the logo they want to ban, so a shirt that just says Sioux is okay. Are they going to stop everyone with a tailgating vehicle that has a Fighting Sioux logo on it from tailgating? What if I want to drive my vehicle through campus or park it and I have the Fighting Sioux logo on my window? I'm thinking the next statue they put up outside The Ralph is going to be the old "We're #1" icon. Oh and the threat was they would send letters to all tribes telling them not to send them kids to UND - well that should also end up shutting down the Native American Cultural Center since it won't be needed - every action has a reaction.
  19. You FU trolls are living Groundhog Day - you share your "pertinent facts" just about daily. You don't bring "well thought out opinions" you bring bison-swill - we get it - you are a bison fan on a UND site and the fact you come here regularly does speak of obsession - do you spend the same amount of time on your primary rival SDSU's site? And the comments made that "FU isn't UND's rival anymore" are taken directly from FU fans who use that song and dance to downplay every UND victory over FU.
  20. Quote regarding the non-UND shirt incident from Walk for Change Organizer - who is also not affiliated with UND: "Scott said the most recent incident was the straw that broke the camel’s back. “Native students aren’t going to want to come here,” she said. Story in same Grand Forks Herald: UND will hold its general commencement ceremony at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at the Alerus Center in Grand Forks, which the university said will be its largest ever with 1,915 students eligible.

    Greg Hardin??

http://predominantlyorange.com/2014/05/14/2014-nfl-draft-scouting-denver-broncos-udfa-wr-greg-hardin-north-dakota/ "There’s another player the Broncos picked up that shouldn’t be overlooked for kick/punt return duties, and one of the more intriguing playmakers from the small school ranks. His name is Greg Hardin, and he comes from the North Dakota Fighting Sioux football program."
  22. https://www.facebook.com/#!/mahto.oyuspa Okay this woman has my admiration.
  23. So you have a team in the NCAAs and you are spending your time on a UND Fan site - you are the definition of pathetic and insecure.
  24. Dang and you drove right past my place I could have hoped on board - we could have brought my tailgating van but more appropriate to show up in a Jeep Cherokee - can we stop at the Siouxper Suds over on Gateway when it's done i have a load of laundry to do.
  25. http://www.nbcnews.com/#/news/us-news/more-160-texas-students-suspended-dress-code-violations-n106661 Right up your alley Mafia Man - 160 high school kids suspended for violating dress code.
