Of course they know about the lack of logo and nickname, but this is an ESPN production. ESPN doesn't have to follow the NCAA rules. The NCAA can threaten to not "allow" ESPN to broadcast the championships, but I don't see that happening since the NCAA probably begs ESPN to take them, and ESPN probably takes a loss on these games.

I'm really torn on who to go for in the DU/FSU game. On one hand, I really don't like Denver. On the other hand, I just remember the FSU guys being real jerks when we played them back in 2002.

The Sioux game isn't on FSN+, it's on regular FSN. The Gopher game is on FSN+, though.

It's all ESPN Syndication, which means other networks can pay to air the ESPN production. At least that's how it's been in the past.

I'm relieved that I'll get to watch the games, not playing the Badgers is secondary for me. With my new job this year I wouldn't have been able to take the time off to go to the afternoon games like I would have at my old job.

I assume the outcome of the UW/DU game affects which game the Sioux play on Thursday. Which team needs to win so the Sioux play Thursday night? (I guess that would also mean if they win they would play Friday night, instead of afternoon, which is good for me.)

They are. They only have to change jerseys for the NCAA tournament games, not the WCHA tournament games.
