  1. The more I think about it, though, if it's showing correctly on a different cable company, then it's probably Comcast's fault for not flipping a switch to turn on FSN+ on channel 694.
  2. I called Comcast, and surprisingly, when I went through the menu to Cable TV Technical Problems, they played a recording that said where each of the hockey games are watchable. They said the UND game is only available starting at 9pm. I didn't catch what the channel number was because I already knew it was available on FCS starting at 9:00. According to the FSN+ schedule, though, it's supposed to be on channel 694 (assuming HD) at 8pm. I already emailed FSN to tell them their schedule is wrong and they they shouldn't publish an incorrect schedule. Or perhaps it's just Comcast's fault since it appears it's showing correctly on FSN+ in Grand Forks.
  3. FSN+ is 694 on Comcast in Minneapolis. It's not being shown right now. FCS-Pacific shows coverage from 9:00 to 10:30, which is certainly a "joined in progress".
  4. I'm sure it is joined in progress, since the game actually starts at 8:00 CST.
  5. Goalie change!
  6. You weren't sitting on the remote, were you? Really? I could do without Sweeny.
  7. The TV said he shot the puck after the whistle. They probably decided it was unsportsmanlike enough for that. Same as mouthing off to a ref.
  8. I've said it before, I'll say it again: Lamoureux was an awful choice for captain.
  9. That hit was closer to a five-minute than McWiliam's was.
  10. Random thought (since they mentioned Grimaldi, so maybe it's not totally random): If Rocco applied for a medical redshirt for this year, would he still officially be a freshman next year, therefore eligible for freshman/rookie of the year? Even if he didn't stay long enough to need the redshirt, he could try to fill out his trophy case.
  11. That's not a normal Denver team, though. Watch out for a closer 2nd period, I think.
  12. Only one so far.
  13. Once again a case of the refs calling the result of the hit rather than the hit itself. It might not even have been a 2-minute minor if the play would have just fallen backwards. But since he flipped around, it made it look that much worse, so of course they had to give him the major.
  14. Initial contact was below the neck. In other words, the refs blew the call.
  15. And they still switched over to our game with plenty of time to catch the opening face off. No need to complain. It's not just you. Must be the production on NBCSN.
  16. Here ya go: http://tinyurl.com/6xccrm
  17. I have a bad feeling that our game will be joined "in progress". Well....7 minutes left in the BU/Vermont game, and the puck usually doesn't drop until 5 minutes after the hour, so maybe we'll be ok. And this game definitely isn't going to OT like a certain lacrosse game.
  18. Better than the worse-than-high-school rink that the Ferris State vs. WMU game is being played at. (That game is on Fox College Sports.)
  19. Anybody else watching the early game on NBS Sports Network? How did the Hockey East refs call that a goal? It didn't get anywhere near close to completely crossing the goal line. The announcer is convinced it's a goal because it hit the padding that's inside the net (covering the pipes on the base of the net, that cover the pipes). I still have no idea how the refs called that a good goal. Vermont got screwed on that one.
  20. "Get me my gardening gloves! NOW!"
  21. Does that mean you would stop cheering for the unnamed UND team and stop coming to this website?
  22. This isn't a Division 1 issue, this is an NCAA issue. If for some reason UND decided to roll back to Division 2, they still wouldn't be able to host playoff games or wear the name/logo at playoff games. The timeline just happens to coincide with the move to D1, but this isn't just a D1 issue.
  23. I also recall hearing that, but I'm not sure where the statement came from.
  24. I hate to be negative about this because it's such a unique event, but it doesn't look like there's a good seat in the house. The only way to actually decently close is to sit on the ends, which I'm not particularly a fan of. Otherwise if you want a side angle you're going to be sitting really far away.
  25. John Hoeven didn't do any more to "create" the oil reserve than Al Gore did to "create" the internet.
