Agreed. I've know some people who have changed their minds about making a move right before their start date. In the end, Hoffner, like most coaches, will be judged by his team's performance on and off the field.

I think that's a pretty fair assessment. A number of games we didn't play a full 60 minute game, and it cost us at times. I think UND and Minnesota were pretty evenly matched most of the game and the rivalry seemed to sharpen both teams. As for Union, they are definitely for real and kept playing their game in the FF against BC and Minnesota. I wasn't really surprised they won a Title.

Every Minnesota fan and alum I work with who actually knows hockey, knows damn well these games are always special. And now with the conference splits, their rarity will make them even more special. Try as they might, the bandwagoneers are not going to have this type of rivalry with Ohio State or even Michigan. Congrats to Minnesota, but go Union!!!
