Exactly. UND Football won a National Championship at UND under the "Ben" logo. And Fast. Dave not so much. That guy couldn't win a semifinal game to save his life. It's not the logo that was cursed.

I got my vehicle tags up dated at the DMV in Fargo. They literally have a whole wall dedicated to Teddy Roosevelt and the Roughriders. Pretty cool display to see.

And in other earth shattering news......LA isn't know for its Lakes either.

"Sack City" started out as a group of students in the front row putting up a sign in their front of the railing counting the sacks. The Alerus started using it officially on the video boards for "funsies." I guess those students graduated, and the Alerus thought it was pointless during the Muss era when there was one sack a game.

While reading the last page, one thing comes to mind. I was a student at UND in the "glory days of UND football" 2001-2005. And for most of those game the upper student sections were still about half full if that. There was pages and pages on this message board complaining about the student populations at the football games. Winning will not solve all. Fans need to realize, "It is what it is."

Where do these rumors even start: Twitter or Facebook? Vote for Nodaks. It'll help cancel out a Fighting Hawks vote and push RoughRiders further ahead. **North Dakota isn't a nickname.

I just watched a PBS special titled: "Theodore Roosevelt: A Cowboy's Ride to the White House," and how much he really loved North Dakota. His love of the outdoors, how after his mom and wife died on the same day, he returned to North Dakota to find solitude. How his speech in Dickinson preludes his presidential speak. How Teddy Roosevelt wanted UND to be the RoughRiders as just before he died he was asked, how he wanted to be remembered: "A man of the West, A man of the Dakotas."

UND Fighting Nodaks. That's not bad, but too bad that's not what we get to vote on.

Theres a big difference (at least in my mind) to shortening North Dakota for a companies name, which sounds completely natural. Nodak Electric Cooperative. Nodak Mutual Insurance. To actually calling someone from North Dakota a Nodak. If the term "NoDak" was popular in North Dakota why didn't UND already try and use it for a T shirt or two? NoDak Fighting Sioux? In todays world, that logo would have to be "polygender." I just cant imagine a decent logo for North Dakota Nodaks. But I can for.... Roll Riders.

North Dakota, per capita, takes in the most refugees.

I will say that the forums nice thick dark line between my last read post and the newer posts is a nice added touch. Now I can scroll to the new post without searching and reading through old ones to find the new one.

The Big Sky appears weak this year in football.

Am I the only one that finds it hard to delete a "wrong quote"? This software has a good "memory" of what you want to quote, but sometimes I click the wrong one and it keeps poping up. No biggie, until I try and delete it out of the reply area, the page/paragraph line "break" seems almost impossible to delete sometimes.

Maybe I missed some, but I'd like to see more easy quick throws: a bubble screen or quick slants.

Studsrud is very inconsistent. Throws a nice tight accurate ball about once out of five throws. The other one is hit the ground short. One is way overthrown. And the other two might be barely caught thanks to great adjustments by the receivers but they never get any YAC because they had to dive to catch the ball.

Is Studsrud running the offense and running it well that the coaching staff wants to run? OR is the coaching staff tailoring the offense based on Studsrud passing abilities?
