I also expect NDSU to win by 10+ points (that's double digits for the easy folk).

That's where I went to school ten years later. Somethings never change.

If I were to guess it was a "threat/hoax." In High School we had to go to the gym once or twice as someone called in a bomb threat (good thing the "bomb" wasn't in the gym).

Big Sky Conference Commissioner Doug Fullerton Conversation
Cratter replied to UND-FB-FAN's topic in NCAA News
Not to mention the fact that what 15-20 years ago ESPN and ESPN2 seemed to be the real only National Sports Networks. Not with HD and expanded cable, Satellite, NHL Network, NFL Network, etc. I think I get about 20 some plus sports channels. -
Closing threads certainly doesn't work. The whole point of that thread was to keep it off the others. And then to close it for doing its job. As ive mentioned before, Delete individual posts that are off topic instead of basically deleting the whole topic for everyone.

So I'll ask again ...what exactly is the conflict? It will upset a few people? That's not really a "problem" as any new nickname will upset some people. All seven new nicknames have conflicts. And most people would think a local high school is of low priority conflict.
-
What's the "problem"? Herald articles (a sports writer already said one of his favorite UND nicknames was Roughriders) that states "Roughriders beat Fargo Shanley for EDC Title" will confuse 12 people?
-
Too many urban dictionary searches of Sundogs.

#Roll Riders. That is all.

End results the same.

He will fit in perfectly at NDSU.

Are they not adding seats this phase? Wasn't it suppose to be 196,500 square feet?
-
Its a football stadium with a track around it. Did people expect it to be small?
-
I doubt a staff would do that (the latter). In this day and age, it would turn a recruit off. And likely make them say no thanks.
-
Did they ever say what caused the last few bodies to be found in the river? Always hear about them but rarely any followup.
-
They think repeating it enough will make it come true.

So is there no insulation in the roof? You can tell there's some shortcuts just like the Alerus Center. The Ralph spoiled us.

I don't know. Lots. 70k is the new 40k. Its 2015. You'd be surprised how much my buddy was pulling in being as a department manager at Best Buy (and he didn't have to pay $2,000 for an apartment). Williston is doing just fine. No doubt about it. And when the next wave comes again, they'll probably be more prepared to handle the influx.

There's no doubt some people have left because of layoffs. But rent declining hasn't caught up and its hard for a family to continue to pay $2,000-$3,000 in rent. Its easy to hitch up the rv and head out of town from the rv park that they were paying $800 a month for a spot. Lots of people probably heading to Minot to find a job, save on rent, be able to find single ladies and feel safer. Knowing they could always head the short drive back west if they're able to find an oil job again. http://america.aljazeera.com/multimedia/2015/4/north-dakota-hard-times.HTML

Because besides the free tuition to the junior college, those things already exist in every major North Dakota city. Grand Forks recently build a new wellness center and has the states nicest indoor water park. My uncle told me his daughter just got a job at Target in Bismarck starting at $14 an hour.

There's half the rigs and half the construction as opposed to last year. "These people" didn't move there to work in retail. They moved on the hope of mega bucks working in the oil field and are more likely to move back home than apply for other area jobs waiting for the upswing.
-
I wonder when production picks up again if people will be even more reluctant to move there again knowing they could be out of a job again in the near future.

University of North Dakota Hockey 2015-16 season

That reminds me of a time we did rounding in elementary class. Must a been "round down" day. I was short some money that day at the convenience store for some pop and candy. -
