Heck, even ET and other space aliens knew it too!

Please explain this leap. Are you saying by merely breathing the word "football" it starts the conversation for the WAC and they get to remind western FCS teams they have the magic wand, the golden touch, as a former FBS conference to give the (required) invitation for a team to move FCS --> FBS?

I come into this thread continually hoping for a big, mean, ugly, likes-to-walk-on-you, hog report. (The ugly is negotiable.) Where's my offensive line that teams fear.
-
Back to one of my favorite arguments ... Yes, NDSU has had quite a run a QB. There's no argument there. But I'm going to say their offensive line play has been equally, if not more so, as important and good through that period of time. Good OL play comes from three factors: offensive scheme (using what you've got to the best of its ability), coaching, and strength and conditioning.

Being the house contrarian, I tend to look at KRACH. Yes, PWR is how they seed, but KRACH gives me a more objective feel than PWR or RPI. KRACH has UND at 10 right now. When I see a team that can split road at UMD and just miss a home sweep of DU that seems about right ... if they play the way they need to play. https://collegehockeyranked.com/rankings/krach/ -
If the bones of the Herald building are good, repurposing it is a great idea. Rather than build a library why not use that existing building. If some street-level retail could be put in, all the better. Does GF Central need additional space? Does City Hall need space? That building is right there for both.

The Snyder angle is real and the largest lurking negative for Klieman, but at least it’s out there and not in the shadows. Frankly, NDSU losing the S&C guy, as I heard he’s going with, may be just as big news but overlooked. He’s been an unsung hero to that program.
-
Congrats to Klieman. He earned it and you don’t walk away from that kind of money when offered. That said, this means nothing for UND but get back on task of getting better.

The original Pizza Corner restaurant in Valley City is the mainstay. Everything else is second in comparison.

Dixie's been busy. Two days ago -- new FB coach: https://www.ksl.com/article/46441570/with-division-i-potential-on-the-horizon-dixie-state-quickly-calls-up-paul-peterson-from-snow-college Link in that article: https://www.ksl.com/article/46417459/study-dixie-state-considering-jump-to-ncaa-division-i-with-eyes-on-the-wac

Well yeah duh.

Honestly, Costco is like that at times also.

As far as UMD's Saturday night ... Can't do the time (in the penalty box), don't do the crime.

There is this strange belief out there that penalties should "even out" in a game. In a word: No. They might. They might not. You put two clean teams out there and it'll be even and close to zero for both. Put two whack-a-hack groups out there and it'll be even, at about a dozen each. But put a clean and a whack-a-hack together and it won't be even. It won't be close, or at least it shouldn't be. This is not to say either team Saturday is a whack-a-hack group. However, everyone has a bad day once in a while and might behave ala whack-a-hack and be called as such. If that day is again a clean team it'll look lopsided. But to believe every game should end up with "evened out" penalties is pure and utter fallacy. There have been many a night that UND has been whack-a-hack and parading to the box and penalties ended up very lopsided against them ... and fully deservedly so.

I heard it from Simone.

Dumping, and not even winning the chase much less the puck battle, on the power play drives me crazy.

I'm not sure which of the Forum guidelines (shown below) those posts violated, but, to be succinct: Knock it off. (<-- There's an implied "or else" with that.)

From the Forum guidelines: Thank you.

Still no external postings for OL and WR coaches on the employment site; still just that assistant soccer coach posting.
