yzerman19 Posted October 29, 2007 Posted October 29, 2007 As the honorable Ice Man once stated: "The plaque for the alternates is in the ladies room"
SiouxTupa Posted October 31, 2007 Posted October 31, 2007 I apologize in advance if this has already been posted elsewhere... It's a pretty heavy story, and I wish the best for coach Russell. http://www.insidecollegehockey.com/7Archiv...ussell_0607.htm

Bob in Wisconsin Posted October 31, 2007 Posted October 31, 2007 Wow. Sorta puts a damper on all the complaining that we did about Friday's officiating, and the Tech fans, etc. I'm glad they won Friday night. Just goes to show you there are bigger things in this world than hockey.
dagies Posted October 31, 2007 Posted October 31, 2007 If I was ever happy to lose a game, I guess it was last Friday's. Good luck to the kid. I can only imagine how difficult something like this must be for a parent.
siouxpuckster Posted October 31, 2007 Posted October 31, 2007 I don't feel bad for losing on friday now after reading this. my thoughts and prayers are with the russell family.
Siouxdonyms Posted October 31, 2007 Posted October 31, 2007 That explains why the Huskies were so physical on Friday night. They really came out banging, and definitely beat us in the 1st period on hits, now we know why. Best of luck to Ben and the Russell family.
Sioux-cia Posted October 31, 2007 Posted October 31, 2007 I wish the best for Ben and his family. I, too, am happy that our lose was for a good cause. My prayers are with the Russell family.

dead_rabbit Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 are you serious? I love the black jersey! I predict we'll see them in December when the goofs come to town.

PCM Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 unless under a special circumstance as i think they wore blacks to honor ralph passing away didnt they? Yes, the team wore black jerseys in honor of Ralph during the Dec. 7, 2002, game against SCSU.
mikejm Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 You, my man, are number ONE with me!!! Wait 'til Perp finds out about this!
PCM Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 Wait 'til Perp finds out about this! Careful. You don't want to get in the middle of a love triangle.
Big A HG Posted November 1, 2007 Posted November 1, 2007 Ralph dying is a significant occurance. A once-in-a-dynasty happening. I don't see them wearing blacks just for fun this year, or ever.
