Get your bold (or not so bold) predictions out here!

I will start. Jonnie Wiltshire will be the MVFC Defensive Player of the Year. This is not a slight on Rucker but man I love Jonnie.

I love him, too.  It's just criminal that the NCAA has left him and some of the others hanging this long on a decision that could have/should have been made in less than 48 hours.  I'll go with Rucker, though.😊 Love it that we could have more than one player in the running.

Teams will have their hands full with our defensive line, so I think Devereaux could end up as UND’s defensive MVP

Offensive side bold prediction: most receiving TDs by Nate Hromadka

boldest prediction: we break the curse in Vermillion

Do the Whioux have D-line depth this year?  SDSU won national championships when it invested in the trenches and was able to liberally sub, particularly on the D-line, without noticeable dropoff.  Last year, SDSU had some D-line talent but no depth, particularly when Kirschenmann was lost for the season in game 1.  Supposedly, the depth has returned.  I know there's some top end talent on the Whioux line but is there depth?

More depth than most years without a doubt. Championship-level depth? TBD

Depth is more of a concern at LB and in the secondary. DL is the deepest room on the defense right now.

Not a prediction but do they lose a game they have no business losing ?

That's where NDSU excelled. They most always took care of business and won games even when not playing well.

If Jerry can help us win a national championship, he can do whatever he wants.

And, it gives the talented other QBs opportunities so we don't lose them.

I've resigned myself to the fact the the secondary will be a rebuild every year.  Either the DBs excel (and as a position group, they seem the most likely to portal) or they'll stink, and then you're looking for guys in the portal.

Deep front 7 can cover for a marginal backside to some extent.
