hawksfan12 Posted Tuesday at 03:42 PM Posted Tuesday at 03:42 PM What are the best frozen four sites for those of you that have attended a bunch? the ones I usually hear as favorites: - Boston - St. Paul - Tampa not sure how Vegas compares. Of course the frozen four has also been in Detroit, St Louis, Philly, Washington DC, Buffalo, Chicago, Pittsburgh, Denver, Milwaukee, Columbus, Albany, LA area to name a few. Quote
cberkas Posted Tuesday at 04:06 PM Posted Tuesday at 04:06 PM The Anaheim is one I remember being bad. Buffalo is not high on the list to have the Frozen Four again. Quote
siouxweet Posted Tuesday at 04:08 PM Posted Tuesday at 04:08 PM Milwaukee Providence Tampa Our last three titles came at those locations Quote

Sweethockey Posted Tuesday at 04:10 PM Posted Tuesday at 04:10 PM Tampa, Tampa, and maybe Tampa. They have embraced hockey and there is so much to do in the sun! 3 Quote

I would rank them 1.Vegas 2.Tampa 3. St Paul I don't care to go to St Paul again. It might be because i've been to St Paul way to many time to count and there is nothing new about it. Vegas was by far the best. Quote

AlphaMikeFoxtrot Posted Tuesday at 05:13 PM Posted Tuesday at 05:13 PM Don't be surprised if Seattle bids now that Vegas hosted. Tough to get to for most fans, but hosting in WHL territory would be bold. Early April in the PNW is hit or miss for weather, but if it's nice and the cherry blossoms are still out at UW there's potential. 1 Quote
atxsioux Posted Tuesday at 05:14 PM Posted Tuesday at 05:14 PM Them not wanting to host it would check out with why they haven't hosted yet. Seems like an obvious no brainer. Quote
atxsioux Posted Tuesday at 05:24 PM Posted Tuesday at 05:24 PM Seattle would be sneaky fun IMO Really walkable city. You can stay downtown and walk anywhere for the whole weekend more or less. Not to mention if you're into the outdoors you can use Friday as a day dedicated for hiking. 1 Quote

NoDaks Posted Tuesday at 06:37 PM Posted Tuesday at 06:37 PM Frozen Four cities I have been to: Boston, Tampa twice, and Vegas. They are so interchangeable on strengths and downsides. I like the option of Frozen Fours being in cities that I may not other visit if it wasn't for Frozen Fours being there to explore new places, but also have some built in plans. The downside of St. Paul is how many times I have been to Minneapolis/St. Paul in my life, but the perk of not having to fly is a nice upside for cost savings. I like going to Vegas every 3-5 years, whether for hockey purposes or not, so I wouldn't complain about keeping Vegas in a rotation. Quote
siouxfaninseattle Posted Tuesday at 08:04 PM Posted Tuesday at 08:04 PM Tampa is my favorite 😁. I liked Boston and Denver. Philly and St. Paul not so much. Chicago not so much either - not much stuff near the arena. Nashville would be great. Quote

So in the next 5-10 years it should be a better setup surrounding the arena. 1 Quote
nascar99 Posted Tuesday at 11:51 PM Posted Tuesday at 11:51 PM Traditional: 1. Boston 2. St Paul 3. Detroit Destination: 1. Tampa 2. Vegas 3. Nashville (hope we get one there someday) 1 2 Quote

gordwiser Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago My crew of 4 (unfortunately, the other 3 are Gopher fans) have been going every year for well over a decade. I personally really enjoyed Buffalo... we flew into Toronto and then drove down. The Mounties did question what the heck we were doing driving back into Canada to fly back to the United States... which made for a little longer interrogation! But as far as the games and the city, I was pleasantly surprised. Loved Vegas, Tampa is great, Boston good. I also liked Philly. Chicago sucks. No thanks St. Louis, but I did hear the committee really liked St. Louis so I expect it to be back there again. I concur Nashville said no which I also think is too bad. I'm not a fan of Saint Paul, and it's too close, so when it's here we pick a regional to go to instead. Quote

The arena isn't in the center of the city, but it's really not a big deal with the quick 20-25 minute subway ride from city hall. Not sure what the appetite is for another FF there. Quote
