And maybe they are right to casuals who are scanning ESPN. Just feels like to core hockey fans, UND vs Wisconsin would have a bigger following. I'd say more to do with #1 overall 1 Quote

Could be why that game is early, and hoping for Michigan’s brand to attract a casual audience for prime time. I honestly think the Michigan/Denver game will be more entertaining. I’ll say we go 5-2 over the Badgers. 2 Quote

And after UND win fans are more apt to stay and watch their next opponent and buy all T-Mobile arena beer Quote

Yes they have a lot of casuals. But when Michigan / Wisconsin / Penn State / Michigan State / Indiana etc. make it in any sport to a big game, the alums come out of nowhere. It wouldn't shock me if Michigan has 10,000+ at the game on Thursday. These alumni bases are huge and everywhere in the USA. Half of them may not even know who is the roster but they will show up. As for game times, the decision was 100% made by ESPN. They looked at the 4 teams and said that Michigan will sell to a national audience most thus give them the late game. Its as simple as that. 1 2 Quote

St. Louis we were definitely the second game.... because we road tripped and didn't get to town until that morning and napped at the hotel and skipped part of the first game. But ugh, as an 08 grad, screw BC. Quote
