If he is being offered $500k or more then by all means he should take it. Can’t blame him for it. I think anyone offering that kind of money is nuts and is unlikely to see a good return on that investment.

Agreed completely. Just wish this wasn’t where the game was. Like good for the players getting paid but man makes it tough to cheer for a low major.

This was my question as well for the true FR that are entering. Seems like a really bad business decision. Completely understand once you’ve put yourself on the map. All-league type of honors. These guys weren’t even consistent starters. Very odd.

You’re right, it is interesting. I don’t know how Sather is behind the scenes but I do know there’s a lot of examples of guys that are ride or die with Sather but then there’s also that group around DAE’s time that really doesn’t ride with Sather.

wtf is a hockey school? That model doesn’t exist anywhere in division one in the country other than, supposedly, Grand Forks, ND … maybe that’s why UND athletics is so god damn amateur

I think the proof is in the pudding. I don’t know the numbers, but the ride or die guys are WAY lower (maybe a handful) than the guys that flee or don't care for him. Some of that can be explained by other factors like a lack of playtime. But we loose a lot of players that we probably shouldn't.
