Popular Post brianvf Posted Monday at 05:52 AM Popular Post Posted Monday at 05:52 AM UND swept UNO in Omaha last month, so hopefully UND can sweep them again in our barn. UND is #5 in the NPI...UNO is #31. Big questions for UND will be if Reschny & Verhoeff will be able to play both games or if Canada will want them right away for their WJC camp...and if any of the injured players will be able to make it back into the lineup. Would be great to get Rickwood and Zmolek back, especially if Reschny and Verhoeff are gone. Hard to believe that the first half is already almost done! Keep it rolling boys! 5 Quote
cberkas Posted Monday at 06:01 AM Posted Monday at 06:01 AM Let this be the weekend that Mavpuck bans all UND fans 1 Quote
brianvf Posted Monday at 06:03 PM Author Posted Monday at 06:03 PM Seems crazy to me that they couldn't just fly to Niagara after the Sat UNO game rather than miss both games? You know if some NHL players get released to play that they won't be at the full camp either. Quote Canada's camp begins Saturday in Niagara, Ont., which means Reschny and Verhoeff are expected to miss this weekend's National Collegiate Hockey Conference series against Omaha. If they make the final roster, they also will miss a nonconference series against Mercyhurst on Jan. 2-3. Quote
brianvf Posted yesterday at 05:22 AM Author Posted yesterday at 05:22 AM Good news at least. Sounds like Rickwood is back practicing and should hopefully be a go for this weekend against Omaha. 1 Quote

thUNDer Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago I’m a weird old lady who remembers MySpace before Facebook, but has done neither. Depth with this team is the envy of others, keep believing in this new staff. Go Sioux! Quote
Wilbur Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago Not a lot of chatter thus far, but the week is young. Haven't really followed much of Stu or the Mavs since we last met. Didn't have a great November, but managed a split against the Yale Bulldogs. They were idle last weekend. Simon from Slovakia hasn't put up mind boggling numbers in his 7th year of tending goal for the Mavs, but as we've seen when he's seeing the puck well he is an elite goalie. I'll say a 4 point weekend for UND. Quote
