AJS Posted Thursday at 03:33 AM Posted Thursday at 03:33 AM Some other news per 360 pod. There are guys every year that don’t return, but won’t enter the portal. Call it retire from football. Here are some notes. • Young (ASU transfer) - was done half way through last year • Gorder (OL) - medical retire • Ryan / Gross (WR) - 360 doesn’t expect back Quote

shep Posted Thursday at 04:25 PM Posted Thursday at 04:25 PM Wondering if the 2 players taking visits yesterday ever encountered a ND winter weather? Quote

SkoHawks Posted Thursday at 07:29 PM Posted Thursday at 07:29 PM First team all big sky 6'2 WR anyone? No clue if we have any interest, but this is the type of player I hope we bring in. Players who have proven to be contributors elsewhere instead of FBS drop-downs. 1 1 Quote

UNDDOM Posted Friday at 03:06 PM Posted Friday at 03:06 PM My only concern moving forward is that the collective might have thrown their entire budget at one player and that doesn't mode well for other key players looking for cash. Time will tell if other key players decide to move on. Quote

UND has a bonafide future professional football player on their roster still (as of now) and it is only a positive. Big things coming … More roster work ongoing. Get behind the collective and contribute. Every bit helps, especially with the match. 2 1 Quote

Time will tell if other key players decide to move on. I don't see it. Given the timing. Odd saying since the portal doesn't open until 01/02, but what did not happen is the various collectives had conversations with other players, had agreements and then now said, nope and they gave it all to Rucker. Let's all cleanse the timeline from that post. What I'm watching for now. JUCO rulings. Wiltshire, Samuels Parker, Walker, Scott. Can they get any of those guys back for another year? Unpopular opinion, but UND losing 4 impact players, is a lot compared to NDSU's - 0, SDSU's - 1, wait on USD. If they can get any of those guys, IMO, it would cancel out an impact player for player @Kab checking back in. More optimistic than I was! 1 Quote
