Obviously a blow but gotta believe in the defensive scheme and depth. Hoping the 9-10 weeks is just to be sure he isn't rushed back and it's more like 7-8 weeks that would put us right in the meat of our most important games.

Toughest part of football: injuries.

Depth is very good. Team will win every game without him and when he’s back he’ll be the shot in the arm we need to win it all in the playoffs.

Confirmed at joes last night.  Legacy media is over, joes is the new source

Damn, terrible luck. I suspect that with Ruckers upside future potential every precaution and evaluation will be thoroughly done.

Dipshit…….there is not a team in the country that would release any news on this before they have to.

On a positive note, this will force a few young guys to grow their game much quicker. Guessing there will be more of a committee approach working into that fourth spot behind Vig, Mohr and Thornton. I’ll be curious to see if they slide a guy like Macklin or Henry to the outside every once in a while now. 

I feel awful for Rucker. 

Getting him back in November would  be an absolute shot in the arm for the entire team. I am confident in the coaches and players that UND will still be in a good position come November. A setback now that will make for an epic comeback story later.

Who knows…..Now probably after next Thursday.  
 

What’s the rush?   To make you happy?  The kid is a legit NFL prospect and he should be priority #1.  Let him get everything in check before having to deal with calls and tweets.

This ain’t the NFL regarding injury reports.

 You wait to Monday to allow additional medical evaluation.

Losing Rucker and now, potentially the 4 or 5 5th year players, would significantly shrink what was outstanding depth in the secondary and on the DLine.  This will allow some younger players to show us what they've got early on.
