Popular Post .357 Posted Saturday at 02:13 PM Popular Post Posted Saturday at 02:13 PM The youngest UST forward last night was 20 yo. A breakdown of their ages: 20 yo: 1 21 yo: 4 23 yo: 2 24 yo: 4 25 yo: 1 ------------------------- Combine all that experience, physical maturity & aggressive style & it's no wonder a barely-17 yo Verhoeff would struggle at times dealing with them. But very good experience for him compared to the mostly 17-19 yos he was facing in the WHL. 5 Quote
SpudsSioux Posted Saturday at 02:17 PM Posted Saturday at 02:17 PM The thing that really caught me off guard was who the 4th line scored their goals on. I figured our depth may create some mismatches this season where other teams’ 3rd and 4th lines struggle to hang with our 3rd and 4th. But I think all 3 goals were against UST’s top line. First one for sure was against their top line and top D pair. Zakreski’s was against their top line as well. Pretty impressive 4 Quote

SpudsSioux Posted Saturday at 04:18 PM Posted Saturday at 04:18 PM That’s true. The “3rd line” listed for them last night was their top as far as skill goes. I would think lines 1 and 3 are their top 2 though so still impressive for our 4th to take it to them like that. 1 Quote

SiouxScore Posted Saturday at 05:51 PM Posted Saturday at 05:51 PM Real solid opening night performance. Good depth throughout the lineup, seemed like we played with more pace. Quote

burd Posted Saturday at 06:43 PM Posted Saturday at 06:43 PM Jax said early on that he intended to pinch more and generally be more aggressive in the O zone. The boys are doing that. 1 Quote

It is where the Brad Berry era came to an end last March with a loss to Western Michigan in the National Collegiate Hockey Conference semifinals. 1 Quote
RedFrog Posted yesterday at 02:52 AM Posted yesterday at 02:52 AM FYI, the response I got from Sidearm sports regarding the NCHC app crashing on Roku. Quote Thank you for reaching out. Our dev team caught the crashing as well and they are debugging the app as we speak. They may not be able to fix for tonight but we are hopeful a fix will be in place soon. If you have an iPhone, you can try to Airplay the stream to your TV in the meantime. 3 Quote
RedFrog Posted yesterday at 04:28 PM Posted yesterday at 04:28 PM Great opportunity to get the season off on a positive note tonight with a sweep. With only two teams (Maine and Michigan) ahead of us and in the top 10 of the current poll having a clean slate this weekend and we can take a significant step forward for only being one set of games into the season. I don't want to look back at tonight as a "what could have been" come NCAA selection time. Quote

ND_Texan Posted yesterday at 05:20 PM Posted yesterday at 05:20 PM So no NCHC.TV coverage tonight? Quote

RedFrog Posted yesterday at 05:25 PM Posted yesterday at 05:25 PM Pretty sure I heard/read that it will be on Midco Sports+, but no NCHC.TV that I can see. Even clicking on the "watch" button on the game on NCHChockey just takes you to the Midco Sports+ page. I don't have Midco cable, so it looks like it will be radio for me tonight. Quote

I’ve had some luck with Vodcast or Fluidtv options. Can’t vouch for whether or not you need to worry about viruses. Quote
snooty89 Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago $30 for a month is crazy for tonight to pay. Too bad the at Bemidji game isn't in the full month. $60 to watch 2 games is wild. Quote
