Brock Faber is the only one raised in Minnesota who is in DC. Brock Nelson is back in CO.

Nelson has a game tomorrow as do the other four who are not in DC. It's not a Minnesota thing.

16 teams play tomorrow, so there are a lot more than 5 with games, including Eichel in LA. So, it's also not a travel thing.

I mentioned the Minnesota players because of the local ties.

Pittsburgh Penguins captain Sidney Crosby has been placed on injured reserve and will miss a minimum of four weeks due to a lower-body injury sustained representing Canada at the Olympics, the team announced Wednesday.

Crosby was hurt against Czechia in the quarterfinals and missed his country's next two games as Canada lost the gold-medal game to the United States in overtime.

The Penguins return from the Olympic break holding the second spot in the Metropolitan Division with 70 points. Crosby leads the team with 59 points in 56 games

I am not a big NHL guy and am nominally a Flyers fan (they were quite good on NHL Breakaway '98 on N64). I have decided I must pick a team now that America is king. Please help me choose a team to support.

You should stick with the Flyers.

Are they on the way up? I am not hopping off the wagon if the team is close to being good again lol

Will be interesting how the American players are received back into their Canadian fanbases.

Especially if they don’t play as well as they did in the Olympics.

Gold medal hockey had a higher TV viewership than gold medal MBB in Paris. Let that one soak in.
