A good thing for high school hockey and love the quote from Besse "The thing that matters is just loyalty to the team. Before my freshman year I maybe wasn't as committed to the team, but after everything we've been through with Jack [Jablonski] and how close we've become, we're basically all brothers. I don't feel I could bring myself to let that go. I don't want to run off and play somewhere else and leave them hung out to dry."

In 23 playoff games he had 17 goals and 20 assists. In 25 regular season games he had 10 goals and 24 assists.

Agree, when we get to that point, it will be what it will be regardless anyway. All 3 of the '96 recruits so far all have interest from Major Juniors, so hopefully Hakstol ends up looking good rather that the alternative if the worst case should happen. Suffice it to say, that UND will probably have a little more notice in all of those circumstances than they did with Miller.

The High Performance 16 and 17 Final 54's are this weekend at the Plymouth Ice Center. This is to decide who goes to the national tournament in July, so there is some pretty good talent here. I just assume ND kids are looked at closely. Particularly ones with D1 potential. Do you think our staff wants to let too many go elsewhere if they have the capability to contribute at UND?

Blake Heinrich a defenseman from Hill-Murray has committed to Duluth, not sure how interested the Sioux were in him but I really liked how he played and his style when watching him play in the state tournament he looks to be a very solid player, good size, very physical, and a decent skater.
