As long as Ben Gordon, Paul Martin, etc are in contact with recruits and the team, I have no idea why it needs to happen today or tomorrow. Agreed. Don't think there needs to be a mad dash. Quote

Not saying that Fersch wants to go to Minnesota or not. Jess Myers said Coyle hasn't spoken to Ferschweiler Quote

With UND you had to apply. Sounds like Minnesota is just going around and offering interviews? I heard U of M was putting flyers on windshields at the mall. One side had the application for the Gofer head coaching job and the other side was for 10 cents off per gallon at Holiday. 2 5 Quote

At least they didn't make it you have to have ties to Minnesota to be the head coach. Quote

Popular Post nascar99 Posted yesterday at 04:14 AM Popular Post Posted yesterday at 04:14 AM Off topic & not directly NCAA Hockey related, but still so devastated about the loss of Jessi Pierce & her 3 children this past weekend. An absolute legend of the Minnesota Hockey community and media sphere, heartwarming to see those across the hockey world pay tribute to her. 💔💔❤️ 8 Quote

Wilbur Posted yesterday at 01:04 PM Posted yesterday at 01:04 PM I will say it was funny that someone got the rumor mill going yesterday with talk of Fersch and the buyout. I've always thought Larson was an excellent coach, let's see what he does in Minneapolis. 1 Quote

After Raboin (and not able to lure Fersch) that's the safe bet. Larson is likely very willing given the questions surrounding the whole of SCSU. 1 Quote
jk Posted yesterday at 01:06 PM Posted yesterday at 01:06 PM I was nearly shocked he was able to keep SC as competitive as he did. I expect him to turn MN around quickly. Quote
cberkas Posted yesterday at 01:13 PM Author Posted yesterday at 01:13 PM The thing about Larson, he didn’t seem to lose much to the portal Quote
Johnny Five Posted yesterday at 01:22 PM Posted yesterday at 01:22 PM I'm at peace with that decision if that's the case. Although the last 3 years haven't gone great, SCSU the school is a dumpster fire and maybe that plays a role. He seems to have the respect of the rest of the NCHC and college hockey as well. He came out of left field for me personally, but that's why I'm just an idiot on the internet. Let's see if any Huskies hit the portal and come to dinkytown with him, there's a couple holes to fill. 1 Quote
