Multiple accounts are posting that he flat out turned the offer down.  I guess we'll see what happens once Augie's season is over.
I would much rather live in SF than in Mpls, so I get it.

UCONN and Mankato winning had to knock out Augie, correct?

Mankato has a good goalie, and Strand took a program that Hastings left in tatters and had them good again immediately.  But everyone in the tournament is either really good or on a roll, so nothing but tough games.

Why would Carle leave a top ten program for a program where the alumni and boosters tell you how to recruit?
