It is possible that is looking to address your concerns and can't say much to anybody that is not in his chain of command.  I know that would have been true in the corporation I worked for.  

It is also possible that he isn't going to do anything but even if he was he probably wouldn't say anything.

I don’t know what’s going on here but this forum is into something that needs to be careful about here because some serious accusations are being made here by supposedly by parents here and reputations and people careers are going to be effected.This seems wrong place for this being discussed if parents have this concern and if I was parent I would have been discussing this with administration not public forum site. Second this whole thread here smells that something is very wrong here and we are only getting story here that somebody has grievance but who are actual parties involved here why is this being even discussed here.  I maybe wrong here but where this line of talk smells something out of place here.

Since Roebuck retired, USD has had five different head coaches. The one who's there now (currently playing in the NIT in year two), plus the current head coaches at Colorado State, Nebraska, Minnesota and Green Bay, all of whom made the NCAA Tournament this year.

Conversely, we've had Brewster (sub-.500 in his career after a winless first season at division II Chaminade in Hawaii), Bernhard, who's out of coaching altogether at present, and now Hutter. And UND hasn't even conducted a true national search for a new coach since 1987. From one of the best division II programs of all time to what we have now in roughly 15 years. It's pretty sad, and it certainly didn't need to be this way.

This data is amazing and just what I felt was the case.  This is what happens when you have a lazy, incompetent AD.

Aaron Kallhoff is 36-61 overall and 15-35 in Big Sky games in 3 years as Head Coach at Sac St.  He was a finalist for the position with Bernhard in 2021.

alot more uncertainty for the wbb team, the men advanced to the summit tournament conference champuonship game which attracts eyes and brings attention to a player who could enters the portal upping their stock and upping the chance of keeping a full scholarship with a new team, wbb team much trickier, after losing to omaha 2 out of 3 times and a really poor season way less eyes and want for a player in the portal, imigine the agonozing decision of what if i enter the portal and noone offers me a full ride scholarship but if i just stay at this place however bad it is at least my college is still paid for and im on a team, pretty gut wrenching decision, sather develops his players physically mentally verbally building them up to help his team hopefully play in a conference championship game, not tear them down mentally physically and verbally causing everyone of his players to go backwards in player development imo so in turn instead of playing in a summit championship its much more likely of not winning a single tournament game much less playing for a ship

There are scholarships available at the D2 level.  I guess if there are players at UND that didn't get recruited at any D2s only UND, I'd probably be nervous about it too, but I have to imagine that most of these players had interest from D2s before accepting the offer at UND. Even if they didn't play much, D2s will still be very interested.

i agree 100 percent, most d2s have a small amount of their roster on full scholarship the rest partial if they have a spot open

If I was Hutter I would be pulling scholarships from some of the players he has.  He will not win with the roster he has now.   I guess we will see how close this "family" is.

I agree with cutting loose those who aren’t good enough. 
 

People who are hung up on his family comments need to remember we’re living in a time where a “family commitment” from the player’s side is one year at a time.

I talked with one hs senior/incoming freshman last spring and asked how it impacted her with Mal leaving.  She said Hutter was the primary recruiter for her anyway.

edit - I was talking to her and one of her parents regarding how it impacted her offer and commitment.  Not regarding the play on the court.

I was able to find at least one current offer to a JUCO sophomore per twitter, plus clearly there's interest in Kinnebrew, so I assume at least one player must have already indicated they aren't returning.

I wouldn’t discount what the parents are saying. We have a problem. Asking for who they are and ignoring what they are saying I think is wrong.
