I had a feeling there wasn’t much recruiting going on and it was a precursor to Berry being fired the the end of the season.

And where did I hear on a recent podcast-either the Alive in Five Guys or Schlossman-said that UND always had every coach on the bench for games whereas you’d look over at the opponent’s bench and it would typically be the head coach and one other assistant because the others were out on the road, recruiting. Whoever said this specifically mentioned Western Michigan as an example of a team that typically only has 2 guys on the bench.

Denver is another example.

I've seen games with all 4 on the bench

Schlossman mentioned Tavis MacMillan not often on the bench for games earlier in the season. More recently he’s been there though.

I always saw him and Dallas when I wasn't at ASU games and watching all of them on NCHC.tv. Howe would be the one I'd see once and awhile. When teams came to ASU all 4 were there.

At risk of repeating myself, if as claimed, that Perron announced he's leaving to the room months ago:

- he's selfish
- he should've been bounced then
- Berry should've been discharged for not discharging Perron

I could easily see a black/white separation on something like that.

Chaves said that Jackson has a plan for moving the program forward into the future.

So what is that plan?

Will he announce it at his introductory press conference?

Assuming there is one?

UND athletics needs to make a public statement on how we plan on moving forward as a program and as an institution.

An open public forum would be welcome.

This is the Flagship University of the NDUS and the way we are handling this is embarrassing and unacceptable.

We as alums, boosters and fans deserve better.

These departures were going to happen no matter who was hired.  It sucks and I am guessing Dane knew this when he interviewed.   Sounds like he and BB butted heads quite a bit in the second half and maybe Dane's hands were tied on certain things he would do differently and was over ruled on.   For month's this board has been saying this roster sucks and needs to be overhauled.   We'll it is happening.  Maybe the players who voiced their opinions on Jax were Strinden, Livers and James.   Leaders on this team not some primadonnas who want the big payday.  Having a coach in this situation with 19 years of collegiate coaching calling the shots might not be a bad thing right now.  He has his work cut out for him that is for sure.

He hasn't been in the position 48 hours.

All legitimate questions come Thursday but I sure he has things to get aligned before announced.

It isn't Jackson I don't trust. I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt.

It's Chaves.

From what I’m hearing, what Jackson was doing behind the scenes is not a good look. Maybe why we have a first round draft pick entering the portal.

What did you hear?

A disfunctional room is on the leader, the head coach.

I didn't believe it.

Now I do.

The XO telling the fleet admiral the captain is failing to maintain his ship is not mutiny, it's going through command to maintain good order. The admiral reviews and decides what's next.

if the team and coaches were so divided (and as the days go by it looks like divided might be a understatement) you knew one side was going to feel like the victor and one side was going to feel like the loser(s)...more the reason to bring in someone in from "ouside the family" to sort things out and cut and add accordingly...

Berry and Jackson didn't speak to each other much 2nd half of the year.

How would you know this as a regular poster on GPL who joined this board over the weekend? What is your agenda? Do you know Rhett who joined GPL over the weekend as well

who knows if carle wants to leave..he has a nice gig...young kids...obviously likes denver....

tavis aint getting any younger....HC at UND...might have been his dream job growing up in Canada?

plus KEM might add a 0 to end of his paycheck...AND the possibility of showing Carle and big boy that he was the conductor of the Denver gravy train is/was the last decade
