Search for a New Head Coach

IF, and I say IF because I don't know anything...., Jackson is going to be named coach, going thru the motions of a national search is the best service the program can do for him.   Had they just elevated Jackson without a search it would have opened up more negativity from many fans.   At least this way UND can say they evaluated the available and interested candidates and have determined Jackson is the best choice. 

Now, that won't eliminate negative feedback, but it will help minimize it, and it's the right thing for the University to do for Jackson.

found the letter...I think despite criticisms of performance, that letter solidifies what we all knew of Brad Berry.  A genuinely good person and a man who did his absolute best for the program as he saw it.  #Fighting Sioux Family

I guess I'm struggling with how all of sudden Jackson is completely absolved with what occured/happenrd with the program over the past 10 years but now is the guy.

Two things can be - and I think are - true:

1) Brad is a high character, good person who cares deeply for UND Hockey and always will.

2) It was time to move in a different direction.

His letter was fantastic and classy IMHO.  He will receive the same treatment that Blais and Hak receive when they show him on the big board at the Ralph.

when you make more than $400k and less than $1.5M...renting a boat is the best option, unless of course you live on the water
