Conmy has a do not contact designation in the portal. Everything so far seems to indicate he is staying east.

Does the "GM" need to be employed by the university?  Seems like NIL is destined to run the show, should the "GM" be employed there and just work closely with the coaching staff?

Speaking of nil $$. Anyone know how much money big 10 schools receive from tv broadcast revenue? Thinking i heard it was substantial. Can this $$ be used for nil?

Schlossman gives a very good break down in the most recent podcast of the portal and different avenues UND will be looking to fill out their roster for next year. I get the feeling that Menghini is one that they need to get.

I get that, it’s just an underwhelming collection of offensive F’s at the moment. You can still win, just slightly underwhelming. Zellers and Swanson will be good, but both are underclassmen that aren’t necessarily blue chips….they could have great years, or they could still be figuring it out. With this group, we’ll need some late bloomer offensive guys that can put the puck in the net.

Just felt like Strinden was one of our better forwards down the stretch this year. I think him playing with the right linemates he could thrive.

In my estimation losing Boisvert is the dagger for next season as a whole, much like losing Blake was. It appears the only way this roster will have a single first line talent is if Zellers is lights out from day one. The anticipated forward group to me looks like one second line, two third lines, and one fourth line. Livanavage could be the highest scorer like the Wolanin year, roster reminds me of the 18-19 teams that were depressing. I'd be shocked if this forward group averages more than 3 goals per game. 

Not sure where the optimism that our D should be good next year is coming from, its the same slightly worse than average D from this year. Hopefully Jackson can get our players to improve as they get older.

Agree with everything other than the D piece. Very tough position, they were all underclassmen playing big roles. They’ll get better and better. I don’t foresee them being absolutely lights out next year, but they will take a jump…a pretty good one I suspect.

Yes, remember when we put up a 9 spot on the gophers when guys like Jackson LaCombe, Ryan Johnson and Matt Staudacher were freshmen? That group was certainly talented, but fast forward a few years down the line, and they became dominant.   Not saying these guys all have the same talent level, but I suspect they will take a nice jump from last year.   Fingers crossed, but just being able to put a guy like Zmolek out there in the deciding minutes of the game could be the difference between giving up the winning or tying goal.

If the only reason Sanderson played here is because he was kidnapped and held hostage by the coaches for 2 years I'd take it over not having him. Lots of people are very good at their jobs without liking their companies.
