The annoying parent’s daughter is gone from the team. I still not sure what he his squawking about. His daughter was the worst player on the team. She was not D1, D2 or D3. The biggest problem on the team last year was having a parent like that be a part of the team. The best thing for that parent would  be for that parent to enter the portal. Good bye.

Maves played for Jacobson at Western Colorado. 42.8% from behind the arc and 74 made 3s this past season is pretty impressive.

Green shot 53.6% from the floor and was her conference's defensive player of the year.

I guess i don't know what or who your talking about, but I can gather from your post that if you had a daughter that was being recruited to the team her to know or yourself to know about the mental abuse the toxicity the personal attacks the blame the players and assistants went through, the narcissism, bad enough that most of the team and the coaches were seeing a psychiatrist to cope and you wouldn't want to know that many of them wanted to quit, you wouldn't want to know about the screaming and loud yelling altercation between the coach and some parents in front of other teams at the conference tournament in front of us and everyone else was about, you wouldn't want to know why 2 assistant coaches were leaving why multiple girls were in the portal, you would just rather your daughter could goto prom in peace, well sorry to inform ya but the players all have snap and insta and when something is toxic their hearing about it, it was said earlier that you can open doors and poeple will listen, we'll if you really cared about these student athletes you would knock on a few of these doors and find out exactly how many hours was billed to the wbb team for mental health purposes and once you found that number to be embarrassing and and unacceptable you would then knock on a few more doors because you care about the student athletes well being to significantly lower those billed hours

Just because you couldn’t/wouldn’t perceive that your kid isn’t a good fit doesn’t mean most parents can’t. Have sat at kitchen table as a billet and discussed at length with parents what they want from coaches and school and where is best place for their kids. Parents that knew thier kids well enough generally made great decisions. Parents that had no realistic expectations of the kids ability to flourish under certain coaches made poor decisions

I believe that person may be done. I don’t believe they wish to answer the questions I posed. This link can hopefully get back on subject.

I have question we have officially now appears 15 on roster but has anyone know if Lauren Reardon been offered scholarship. If not could we still possibly have one opening left on roster if like last year we had 16 positions but I am not clear how that all worked. I am just curious about this.
I have been looking at roster we will not be deep at the forward-center position for coming year by size Green at 6-1, Smith at 6-2; Duscherer 6-0;  Ohnstad 6-1; and Piekny 6-0 (listed as guard) and Jacobson 6-0( listed as guard)  these are people over 6 feet but to compete looking NDSU , SDSU,  and ST Thomas all show rosters of  having 6 or seven players above 6-1  in size  and these are teams I believe will be top 3 teams in conference. South Dakota with Ava Miller now makes them comparable to us. The question is will South Dakota and teams like us can offset this inside presence with good three point shooting can offset this size with our above average size in our guard positions. Hutter did this at Mayville but so far haven’t seen anyone been able to do this at division I level in Summit conference for this to work we need better 3 point shooting coming from guards to spread the floor. This is the next level for women players will need to develop in skills to offset length being used now in players like we have seen in men’s game which I have no doubt will come.

To the best of my knowledge, Ohnstad is no longer a part of the program, meaning there should still be one open roster spot. I realize she "withdrew" from the portal, but that doesn't obligate UND to take her back, and she hasn't been in any of the off-season pictures posted on UND women's basketball social media accounts.

Crickets lately??? Only one poster got called out ……what happened to the rest of you?😁

If you have any news, please share. I’m not in the know as far as recruits, etc.

Any new on recruiting front if we have one opening left. I still think we need another post player and personally I think we could use two more but I don’t think we have openings left for that. Also are the recruits coming in going to be here this summer I think that would be essential to developing this team.
I think two top spots in conference are already locked up by both the state schools virtually both teams returning large nucleuses and are bringing top recruits. Then next two spots are filled by South Dakota and St. Thomas both have resources enough players returning next year be favorites for those spots. That leaves us in bottom 3 and likely us fighting to stay out bottom for seventh place. This is not rosy picture but it’s where we’re at right now hopefully we have few surprises before start of next season. My dream would be we find several players that step up start shooting better from outside where we get 40% from the three if that happens then are post players will look very good. Then we have players that can play better pressure defense we then would have chance to move up in the conference.

Jordan Christofferson, WF Horace guard and daughter of UND Hall of Famer Jenny Boll, commits to NDAC.

I look forward to hearing what Roebuck has to say about this when Jenny is inducted into the UND athletic hall of fame this fall.

What can he say?  The girl lived in Fargo all her life and the UND team is shambles.  I dont blame her one bit for staying home and playing for Jory.   Doesnt take away what Jenny or Gene did back than.  Hopefully someday UND gets back to where we are competing for the top talent.

Don't know him well, but Roebuck never struck me as quite so philosophical when it comes to the UND-NDSU thing. In any event, a sad commentary on the state of the program or the state of recruiting,  or both.

I don't recall whether this was discussed previously, but a somewhat similar thing happened last year when Kate Holmquist, the daughter of UND legend Jaime Pudenz and former UND football player Robbie Holmquist, signed with Montana. The difference is, I'm not sure whether UND even recruited Kate. For that matter, I have no idea how heavily Hutter actually recruited Christofferson, since I believe that offer was made a few years ago by Bernhard. But in any event, it's obviously not a great look when UND either doesn't recruit, or unsuccessfully recruits the division I prospect daughter of a standout player from the glory years.
