They lost their few portal players and now rebuild I guess.

Wash, rinse, repeat.
This is the new normal. New roster every 1-2 seasons more or less.

His agent inquired.  Chaves told him salary. Agent said good luck

I heard the same. Think of how much better of a position we’d be in now

With Chaves around, it will probably be a 3 day national search.  He will probably name Herbst.

To save money he may do away with the search and name him immediately.

😁

Love it

Sather coaches the H out of these kids.

He is an excellent coach.  m

He takes these groups and gets the most out of them.

NIL is a death nail for mid-majors.  Anyone good is gone.

400k for Ianacho, and the list goes on.

And his staff works their ass off.  They find good players to enjoy for a year or two.

Any change would be a huge chance of a down grade.

Again - we need to get our checkbooks out.

I was thinking in the same year, seems like UND has t lest 2 each year that are good -layers and not players that aren’t playing much

Why have we won nothing with all these good players we’ve had?

I don’t know, ask the coach and AD

i wonder where the heart of some of these players is when before season ends they already made up their mind to transfer

Good God. All programs need more money. There’s never enough. It’s about what are you doing with what you got.

Sather has done sh*t. He’s worn out his welcome. 1 more year and then gone (hopefully) unless he finally produces a winning season.

in the meantime, yes, let’s give and increase the budget

Out of curiosity how many coaches at UND in the last 10 years have gone onto a better job? Is UND only capable of hiring bad coaches? Or is Grand Forks a death knell for coaching careers? I’m curious.

I've lived here 10 years now and follow most sports and I can't think of one that left for a better position.  But alot of coaches fired in those 10 years.   I wonder if it could be our AD ? 🤔

Dale Lennon DII UND to FCS SIU, Hak going Pro..  other than that: Oh, I forgot Kalen Deboer UND to Alabama..  oh no that was Bubba - nope, Jones - nope, Volleyball coaches nope, W. Basketball nope...   My gosh that is bad..

Well, here are the AD's on field accomplishments per his resume since 2018.

"the Fighting Hawks capture a conference football title in their first year in the MVFC as well as the men’s basketball and women’s tennis programs reaching the Summit League title games in 2020 and 2023, respectively."  It is sim pickings..
