I’ll say it again…..repeat of ‘22-‘23 season…..pre season talk of “tired of hanging white banners”, slow start, divided locker room, rash of injuries etc. 

 

This current team was embarrassed by Augustana to start things off and has been a struggle since.

 No need  to elaborate, the product on the ice should tell you what you need to know. 
 

Ask yourself this….if this was an “all in” mentality, would we not have seen better results than we have seen thus far? Especially with all returners and “ high end talent”.
 

You have a guy with a C and an A , whom for argument purposes are 4th liners, a coaching staff that is not on same page and a constant throwing darts at dart board in the portal, in hoping things work. The “culture” speech we all hear from the guy is charge is a dead narrative.

Well your captain doesn’t have to be a top 6 forward…just needs to be a leader and have the respect of his teammates.

What we've seen on the ice so far could point to many things, doesn't necessarily have to be divided locker room.

Speaking of divided locker room. 
I was a bartender at the Hub my last couple years of college.  Some of the players would come in from time to time and the other bartender was roommates with a couple of the players.  One night a group of 6 players came in and ordered burgers (best burgers in town back in those days!).  Two of the players left without paying (dine n dash!), which pissed them all off.  Two others paid their bills and left.  The last two players split the two dashers and their bills to pay off the rest of the tab, so we hooked them up with a couple free beers to thank them.  They proceeded to tell us all sorts of stories about the two dashers and how everyone on the team hated them...now THAT was a divided locker room from the stories they were telling.  But...that team ended up making it all the way to the title game before losing to Denver.

That was a good team.  Not a very good Jan/Feb at all, but only lost twice in Mar/Apr...both times to DU.

"Numbers" means goals, doesn't it?   There's something of greater value?   Pretty goals are worth more than grinder goals?
