UND really pushed the pace early and beat DU at their own game.  Bring that level of play in the post season and they will hang some banners.

They will have to bring that level of play to get close.   The top 8 teams in this year's tournament will be hella good.

Agreed, the top 8 is scary good. Not to mention you have Michigan and the Gophers outside the top 8. They both have the talent to win four games at the end of the season.

Random thoughts:

1. Jamernik was really good last night. He played the body and helped set the tone early. Berg and Strinden too.

2. It was good to hear Blake praise his teammates, especially Kunz, for his goal.

3. UND is second in the nation in fewest penalty minutes taken per game. Credit to the coaching staff for getting the boys to be disciplined.

4. There were still a few blind backhand passes that resulted in turnovers. A turnover is to DU’s offense as spinach is to Popeye.

There have been many power play goals, and goals period, where the goalie had no chance to see the puck. UND has done a lot better job of doing that this year by guys like Berg and Kunz.  Now that they see the results, hopefully it engages them and their teammates to continue to do the dirty things that are the difference between winning and losing, especially in the National tournament.

These overhead angle view replays that the Ralph kicks out are top notch.
I haven't seen any other college hockey account have anywhere close to this quality.

That is pretty sweet!
