Never liked the bent, stretched, and warped Denver wordmark jersey (last season's I believe) but the following is a good summary of the new one.

How do you manage to make a jersey that looks like a chinese knockoff of your own jersey?

Next thing you know they'll return to the "ketchup and mustard" jerseys of the 1980s and 1990s. :D

He can’t be that clueless!?!

He could be. I remember how Gopher fans used to rag on UND fans for our team being a bunch of 25-year-old Canadians. Years back, I remember Goldie holding a sign at UND vs. UMN game that said, Manitoba's Pride on Ice. Now it's different for them.

Preseason Media polls for Hockey East were announced:

1. BU (11) 156
2. BC (2) 135
Merrimack (2) 135
4. Connecticut 102
5. Providence 92
6. Northeastern 86
7. Massachusetts-Lowell 83
8. Massachusetts 79
9. Maine 74
10. New Hampshire 26
11. Vermont 22

Preseason All-Hockey East Team
F Cutter Gauthier (So., BC)
F Justin Hryckowian (Jr., NU)
F Alex Jefferies (Sr., MC)
D Lane Hutson (So., BU)
D Scott Morrow (Jr., UMass)
G Victor Ostman (Sr., Maine)

Even though he hasn't played a minute of NCAA hockey yet, I would guess that Celebrini will be on that All-Hockey East Team by the end of the season.

Ty Smilanic not returning to Wisconsin. Curious if he was welcome under Hastings.

When Hastings went to Mankato he forced a few players off the team “telling them they were not his types of players”.  One ended up finishing his career at the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire.

Had DeBus played a 4th season at Minnesota he would have been 26 pretty early in the season.
