We hopefully don't give Omaha an inch next weekend, them making the tournament likely puts us somewhere other than Sioux Falls.

Hockey is so weird. 
After completely crushing UND in two straight games, CC only has 2 total points in their last 3 games (one loss and two shootout losses) against UNO and UMD, two teams below them in the standings.

…and they scored 13 goals against us, but only have 3 goals in the last 3 games. Weird is an understatement.

It's called the overall strength and ruggedness of the NCHC. Our boys got a taste of that last night. Helping create this league is the greatest thing Brian Faison did while he was in Grand Forks.

Weird is accurate, perhaps CC's season will mimic our football team, clobber the big dog in a super bowl and dribble the rest of the season down a leg.
