Owens was able to get those skilled players. Sure things got a bit low towards the end of Owens’ tenure but CC had some highly entertaining teams back then. I hope the new rink will help. He’s gotten so much rope as it is. Three seasons ago, the former AD gave him a huge contract extension (some say, making him the highest paid coach in the NCHC) after finishing 15-17, his best season in his tenure.
