Buddy, it was a typo, which I corrected lol. You thinking ND is a UND rival and would drive attendance is comical and using it to say we should switch to the Big10 is even funnier.

All you're doing is confirming that a winning team draws a bigger crowd and a team that missed the playoffs 2 years in a row is going to see a dip.

Yeah, all the students were at home, in Grand Forks, and going with their families to watch a team that was dominant and wasn't coming off of 2 years missing the NCAA. Also, 2010 didn't have 75" LED TVs at home. That team drew because they won. Not because of Notre Dame. Also, was this announced attendance versus butts in seats? What was the announced attendance last night? Do you have pictures to compare?

You're comparing to 2010-11?!?! Literally one of the most dominant, fun to watch Sioux hockey teams of all time.... until they Hak'd up the frozen four of course. 1

Annnnd... then saying that Notre Dame is the reason people came to that game... and because Notre Dame was the reason that fans came to that game is why UND should leave the NCHC for the Big 10 and that's a way we could potentially fix our attendance "problem".
Popular Post UNDBIZ
Look no farther than the Fargodome. 18,000 people don't go to those games because of cheap tickets, cheap food, or to be in a nice building. Heck, they don't even sell alcohol! They go because North Dakotans love a winner. Lots of bandwagon fans out there for both sports. 2
