It’d be nice if he had something positive to write about

I don't click bait anything he writes.  He failed as a column writer, doesn't have any readers outside of Fargo that want to hear his takes on su, doesn't have any readers that want to hear his takes on political views and only brings up UND if he can disparage them.  Izzo is a doosh bag and has more credibility than fooly.

Thought there was no way this happens this year.... Did the forum piece ruffle enough of the money men's feelings to write some big checks AND bring in a bigger name

On the record @gfhockey who are they targeting???

Schmidt?

Nobody associated with the program previously please.

Hinted at former d coordinator.... But said that "source" is not too reliable but it doesn't take a genius to know who that might be....

Assuming if these guys are writing these checks they just might get to decide his replacement unfortunately.... Kinda how we got into this mess a decade ago

Ain’t a thing till it happens

head guy change is not what we do

The Chicago Bears had not fired a coach mid season in their 105 year history until today.  There is always a first time for everything.

Schmidt would not really excite me tbh.

The schmidt stuff is questionable..... He mentioned a past d coordinator then kinda backed off a bit

Also, I want to mention that the last two coach hirings I was pounding the table for Kalen Deboer for football and Ben McCollum for basketball. I’d say those aged quite well. If Bill wants to know my thoughts right now, it’s pounding the freaking table for Danny. I’m open to listening to others but that’s my stance right now.

If Schmidt, he was running 4-2-5 for the Aztecs. He does have more fire and he could of followed staff to Bama, but chose to be a D-coordinator job. He may is young and may want to move up. Not splashy but not a for sure lifer as a coach.
