i think it would be pretty cool if every player had their choice of goal song when they score...........

and it would be fun to find out each players choice when they score their first goal of the season!! (this past year maybe schmalatz's would have been...)

Took me a bit to find this thread, note to self, thread titles that are readily searchable may be helpful.

 

I love Chelsea Dagger, but things change/move forward...   Does the team pick the goal song?  If so then the musing of a cotton top are not useful.

 

The reason I am wondering is an algorithm put the sound of Pacifica into my head.  I hear some riffs that could be workable.  Would a team/program hire out the creation of a goal song?  Seems like a way to become a first mover?

individualized goal songs that each guy picks before the season (goalies included!!)

your getting a beer and you hear a cheer and then hear "im shipping up to boston" you know its ______________ and so forth and so forth...

and you find out when that guy scores his first goal...so for a guy like schmalzt you wouldn't find out until february (then you find out he's a huge chappell roan fan and we hear pink pony club....

The music that desperately needs to change is the power play intro.  It isn’t really hype music, the crowd can’t clap along, etc. The end result is staring each power play with an absolutely silent crowd.   And yes, they can play other music while still plugging their sponsor and splashing their graphics on the video boards. 

Choosing a song that gets the crowd into would be a step in the right direction. Better yet, I would love for the students to come up with a unique version of something like the SKOL chant. Imagine every power play starting with the crowd in unison. It would be intimidating for the opposition.  Then figure out a variation for the penalty kill.

I was thinking more along the lines of something like this; everyone starts with their right arm in the air…Boom Boom “Let’s Score” or Boom Boom “Let’s Go” while doing the same motion as Chelsea Daggar.

 

But feel free to Caw Caw along if that sorta thing floats your boat.  😏
