Fetch Posted August 15, 2015 Posted August 15, 2015 Not looking like packers will have room for John - sure wish the Vikings pick him up or anyone - be great to follow him Quote
siouxforcefans Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 He has never appeared to be NFL level. Guessing Canada comes calling after these tryouts, unless he can make a practice squad. Quote
Oxbow6 Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 As a Packer fan, I would like to see him stick at least on the practice squad. He has solid tools running and catching the ball and is not afraid to block. I could see him possibly making an impact on special teams. Quote
The Sicatoka Posted August 17, 2015 Posted August 17, 2015 I haven't had a pocket watch since I stopped wearing three-piece suits. ... What's that? ... "Crockett"? ... Nevermind ... Quote
darell1976 Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Packers cut him...CFL may be his alternative. Quote
Hambone Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Packers cut him...CFL may be his alternative.he just signed on to the practice squad with the Pack. Quote
darell1976 Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 he just signed on to the practice squad with the Pack. With so many injuries this year I wonder if he will get playing time somewhere down the road. Quote
Fetch Posted September 7, 2015 Author Posted September 7, 2015 I hope he gets a chanceThanks for info Quote
Prison_Mike Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 The CFL would be a good fit. NDSU has really turning into a CFL factory over the past few years. Good for them. Quote
kingranch Posted September 7, 2015 Posted September 7, 2015 Crockett is right where he belongs, running backs get injured all the time in the nfl, he will get called up this year and play in a few meaningful games. Quote
SIOUXFAN97 Posted September 8, 2015 Posted September 8, 2015 crockett watch...who cares? where is lamar gordon btw? 2 Quote

Get called up, no. I can think of one (1!) RB off a practice squad last year to see significant playing time. Quote
