siouxforeverbaby Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Refs missed 3 or 4 calls in last couple minutes missed or decided to let them play for ot? Quote
neoflex Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 fortunate to be going into overtime. We've been badly outplayed, so I hope for a very strong OT. Quote
burd Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 UNO may not be very good, but they have sure controlled play tonight. Ice is tilted. If we lose, it won't be because of bad refs. Quote

siouxforeverbaby Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 I see Brad's blog has the first goal as Gage and the second as Nick... Quote
Cratter Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Shootout has to go to advantage Omaha with their goalie having better numbers. Quote
Let'sGoHawks! Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Omaha doesn't have a ton of skill, but man do they work hard. Quote
Sodbuster Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Yeah, they finally mention shoot out as time expires...... Quote
.357 Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 I thought it was considered a tie if no one scored in OT? Quote
siouxforeverbaby Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 I thought it was considered a tie if no one scored in OT? It does...the shootout is only counted for NCHC point standings iirc Quote
Cratter Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Parity. Blais might win another championship before Hakstol. Quote
.357 Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 It does...the shootout is only counted for NCHC point standings iirc Schlossman said Omaha gets the extra point, though .. So how many pts does each team get? Quote
Cratter Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 I thought it was considered a tie if no one scored in OT? Omaha basically wins the game. They get two points UND gets one. Quote
siouxweet Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 well that's a pathetic way to lose a tie game. Quote
cberkas Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Parity. Blais might win another championship before Hakstol. Blais might want to make the NCAA's first. Quote
Sodbuster Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Aren't all 4 losses on a Friday night? Quote
Cratter Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 Blais might want to make the NCAA's first. They are ahead of UND in the conference. Quote
Let'sGoHawks! Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 I'm surprised people don't get the overtime rules for NCHC league games. Win in regulation is 3 points. Tie is a point for each team, with shootout to follow. Shootout winner gets the extra point. Game is a tie for pairwise purposes. Points are for NCHC standings. UND just tied Omaha in the all important Pairwise rankings. Quote
siouxweet Posted November 29, 2014 Posted November 29, 2014 They are ahead of UND in the conference. and pairwise, it is only november though. Quote
